This year we are inviting people from different areas of the music industry, alongside producers and DJs, to showcase a wider array of voices and perspectives on music and music scenes. Mix 13 is the first of these mixes,  a high energy selection of club bangers and the world debut mix from ENYO (@enyo-face).

"A homage to my teenage years in New Jersey. My integration to Black American society after moving to America and my first solid introduction to electronic music. A mix of my old and new favourites with the help of a dear friend with technical mixing. Creative process, selection, order and structure of the mix done by yours truly." - ENYO

ENYO has worked in the music industry for many years in New York, Berlin and Amsterdam. She is a booking agent to acts such as E-Saggila and Kia and is also recognised within the techno community for her past roles with Herrensauna and Odd Fantastic. She also works in music publishing and fashion and is currently a booking agent for indie model agency VEIN.

As a DJ - and resident at the legendary Smartbar in her home of Chicago - she's built a name for herself through her unique and unpredictable cocktail of sounds and styles, moving with real style and fluidity between vocal Chicago house, Belizean punta, techno, heavy synth excursions and so much more.

She channels these inspirations into her productions too, which have taken her to labels like Femme Culture, Majía, Head Charge and Boukan Records, as well as providing remixes for several artists, most recently Copenhagen's Ave Doors.

So, if you need your spirits raising today, follow Ariel's words - get your make up on and set a date to dance with yourself tonight, because this really is the only soundtrack you need!

Club Matryoshka and CTM came together for CTM's 22nd festival edition to revisit the Alpha Lebbeus world, 40 years after we first explored the expansive planet together. With this follow-up collaboration, Club Matryoshka expanded on this unique Minecraft world, together with a story-based gameplay narrative co-developed with artist collective Children of Cyberspace. The six-hour journey was soundtracked by live and DJ sets created by a diverse group of emerging artists from around the globe, curated in a collaborative spirit by Club Matryoshka and CTM.

Founded in 2019, Club Matryoshka is an international virtual venue, home and safe haven to underground and unorthodox music mutants. Based in the Philippines and built in Minecraft, Club Matryoshka was founded and developed by a community of gamers, artists, and musicians. similarobjects, dot.jaime, cavill, ahju$$i, JohnPope, and Maengo69 felt a lack of freedom and acceptance in club scenes, both in Manila and abroad, and sought alternative avenues for sharing their work and finding community. The club opened in July 2019, barely a year before COVID-19 would bring in-person events and nightlife to a halt.

To celebrate, we have an hour of psychedelic weirdness from Seattle-based Dani Loose, best known as @havingsex , who has been an active part of the American Northwest DJ scene for the better half of the last seven years. Loose has developed a reputation for playing cerebral, hi-energy sets that scatter genres all across the board. Since moving to Seattle, Loose has become a highly visible and outspoken figure, bridging the gaps of the queer party scene and the mainstream techno world.

What was originally supposed to be a meticulous dubstep mix, ended up being an hour and a lil bit of of found sounds from Soulseek trance compilations and gems dug out of the bins in and around Seattle. Expect a little bit of everything from goa, to broken beat, to wonky midwest techno. It is pure dizzy time energy in the style of On Earth! 🤯
