The ever-prolific Kaelin Ellis is a rare gem of a musician. His rise to prominence has grown through his skills as a talented multi-instrumentalist and a very earnest need to build community and collaboration. This is made beautifully apparent in his Fool's Gold debut entitled "You Are Here, Start."
This album is full of the melodic and rhythmic sensibilities that has made Kaelin a respected and revered household name. With features that range from Duckwrth, Guapdadd 4000 and 2-time Juno Award winning rapper TOBi, to savant pianist Anomalie and RnB/Blues crooner C.S. Armstrong, "You Are Here, Start" covers sonic ground in ways only Kaelin can. There's a certain warmth to this project that wraps around you like the sun.
