It took me a while after having moved to another country and a change in my personal life to find the inspiration and consistent workflow again. I am getting closer and closer and part of the consistency was creating this podcast for you. The first track I have loved for many years now and always wanted to do something with it, thanks Francesca for sharing the original with me. I finally felt inspired to grab it and give it some AC flavour. It's always a proces to create a journey with musical tracks, where I am trying to bring that timelessness, balance and surprise in there. It's probably the same proces as writing a book. Alfonso Arés's relationship with electronic music began more of 20 years ago when he began working in the Madrid clubs. His experience with the scene, combined with his innovative attitude, has made him a well- rounded artist.

As a producer, he has been continually refining his sound, which has been recognized for its style that shares roots with the New York-based "Nite Grooves" and other labels such as "Inward", "Suprematic", "Polyptych Ltd", "Street King", "Lapsus Music", "Highway Records", “Animo” and his upcoming release on "Redolent Music". 

His proficiency and extensive knowledge of different musical styles have enabled him to demonstrate his versatility in the studio, and his productions have been remixed by renowned international artists like Kellerkind, Marco Resmann, Darin Epsilon and Marko Nastic.

He has had the opportunity to DJ in cities such as Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, Berlin, Ibiza, Tulum and Cdmx over the past few years. Nowadays, his Animo shows feature performances from esteemed artists like Who Made Who, Sasha, Stavroz, Frankey & Sandrino or Matthias Tanzmann, to name a few.

We are always happy to see that an old friend is making progress. Back in early 2013 @julius-abel created the 5th Exclusive Mix for @1daytrack and today we are able to premiere this track of his upcoming first ever EP titled 'KAIN'. This track named 'EDEN' is the second track on the EP and left us completely baffled. The deep melodic sounds made us think of some of the best tracks by @paulkalkbrenner earlier in his career.
