Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty shares his latest single ‘Have You Ever?’ taken from his upcoming debut album ‘Universal Language’, out April 28th on Anjunadeep.

Blending an infectious, echoing vocal sample with a driving bass, ‘Have You Ever?’ is no exception to the Canadian producer’s signature house-influenced sound that’s seen him release on labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Purified, REALM, and his own imprint Recess.

‘Have You Ever?’ follows the release of ‘Soulflow’ (feat. Ursula Rucker), which has gained radio support from BBC Radio 1 presenters including Pete Tong and Danny Howard, SiriusXM, and KCRW as well as a host of tastemaking DJs including Gorgon City, Diplo, Nora En Pure and more.

Crafted for the dancefloor, Simon’s debut album ‘Universal Language’ gives the audience a taste of the range of musical styles that they can expect to hear Simon play during one of his DJ sets.

The album features a range of collaborations including American spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, british duo My Friend, singer / songwriter Tailor, UK-based producer and vocalist Artche, british songstress Ruth Royall and legendary American vocalist Roland Clark as well as a remix of JODA’s hit track ‘Closer’ (feat. Robyn Sherwell). 

In support of his upcoming album, Simon has recently announced phase one of his ‘Universal Language’ tour. Featuring over 30 dates, the tour kicks off in February in North and South America, before moving over to Europe and Asia. More dates will be announced later this year.

Unlighted es un DJ y productor nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Su amor por la música electrónica surge de la influencia de artistas como Deadmau5, Armin Van Buuren, Oliver Huntemann, Julian Jeweil, Cirez D, Bryan Kearney, John Askew y Metodi Hristov. A los 12 años comenzó a incursionar en el mundo del djing únicamente utilizando una computadora. Ingresó al mundo de la producción musical en 2019 tomando clases personales con referentes de la escena local. Su estilo musical se caracteriza por encontrar sonidos minimalistas y eléctricos junto al Techno, fusionados con vibas Tranceras y características del Dubstep. Ha lanzado su música en sellos como FORM, HYPNOSTATE, LEGEND, FABRIC, SET ABOUT, PHOBOS y ALULA TUNES, solo por nombrar algunos. Walking straight with undeniable transparency, a pure hearted soul with ethics and devoted to electronic scene for the last 27 years, DJ Ino impecably stands out behind the decks with style. Became a very much respected deejay & producer in the clubbing scene, nicknamed “the impossible mixes wizard”.
He has shared the DJ booth and different experiences with the most influential artists in the electronic music scene for decades, such as the iconic Frankie Knuckles, Masters At Work, LTJ Bukem, Carl Craig, Josh Wink, Âme, Monolink among many others.

There are four very special places worth to mention along DJ Ino's career. Bonded with music world since 15 years old, played in different Rock bands in the North of Spain. The clubbing scene in Portugal was crucial for his debut as a DJ. Years later, the New York ́s city culture, radically changed his sound, becoming more rigorous and methodic about musical selection. Ibiza’s another place that has definitely got a stamp his artistic path. Nowadays its common to see him playing in countless clubs on the island, linked to different important brands such as Ibiza Sonica Radio. Currently, Ino developed and produced the “Lost Tribes Tulum” project, which led him to sign by B4 Beach Club in Zanzibar, to share precious knowledge with this new promising place.

Unlighted is a DJ and producer born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His love for electronic music began thanks to the influence of artists such as Daft Punk, Oliver Huntemann, Julian Jeweil, Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, and Metodi Hristov.

At the age of 12, he started exploring the world of DJing using only a computer. He entered the world of music production in 2019, taking private lessons with Martin Kinrus, Brian Gros, Mayro, and other key figures from the scene.

His musical style is characterized by finding minimalist and electric sounds combined with techno, fused with elements of psytrance and features of dubstep.

UNLIGHTED has released his music on labels such as Form, Fabric, Hypnostate, Legend, Set About, Phobos, and Alula Tunes, just to name a few.

Since then, his career has seen a meteoric rise, performing at major clubs in Argentina such as Groove Crobar, Under Club, Uniclub, Caix, among others. His passion and dedication have taken him to perform in several countries, including the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Norway, Lebanon, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Chile, and Uruguay.
