This was a lot of fun to do. It started as an ambient guitar e-bow thing and became somthing very different. The audio is from a 1962 radio broadcast "The Doom Machine". Funny but at the same time relavant.

ユーフォニクスが約2年ぶりとなるセカンドアルバムを配信開始。 今回はイエロー・マジック・オーケストラ（YMO）、エリック・クラプトン、ボーイ・ジョージ、菅野よう子、高橋幸宏、坂本龍一、シーナ＆ロケッツ などに歌詞を提供し、映画音楽や舞台音楽など幅広い分野で作詞活動を展開しているクリス・モズデルが作詞を担当。 同氏の歌詞が放つサイエンティフィックでスペイシーな世界観が、YMOをリスペクトしながら楽曲制作を行うユーフォニクスのエレクトロニカサウンドにより 表現されている。 キャッチーなサビが印象深いリード曲の「スペースシップ ヘッド」は最新のデジタルヒューマン技術を駆使したSF映画風のミュージック・ビデオと完全連動し、SF映画ファンにとっても興味深い作品に仕上がっている。 全体を通じて、ビンテージシンセを多用したYMOの中期や1980年代のエレクトロニクスミュージック、高橋幸宏率いるメタファイブを彷彿させるエレクトロニクスサウンドに仕上がっており、往年のYMOファンやエレクトロニカファンに是非聴いて貰いたい一枚である。

 Euphonix has started distributing their second album for the first time in about two years. This time, Chris Mosdell is in charge of the lyrics. He has written lyrics for the Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO), Eric Clapton, Boy George, Yoko Kanno, Yukihiro Takahashi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Sheena & Rockets and others. On the other hand, he writes lyrics in a wide range of fields such as movie music and stage music. The scientific and spacey world view of his lyrics is expressed by the electronica sound of Euphonix, who respects YMO while producing music. The lead song "Spaceship Head", with its catchy chorus, is perfectly linked to the sci-fi movie-style music video that makes full use of the latest digital human technology, making it an interesting work for sci-fi movie fans. Overall, the electronic sound is reminiscent of YMO's mid-term, 1980s electronic music, and Yukihiro Takahashi's Meta Five, which makes extensive use of vintage synths.

Epic Down is a duo from Leipzig, Germany dedicated to the sluggish grooves and lumbering riffs of sludge & doom, started in 2021 by Mitzschi (guitar(s)/bass) and Fabian (drums/vocals).
Influenced by primal doom, drone and stoner, the sound of Epic Down is mainly characterized by solid downtempo grooves and rolling walls of guitars, complemented by slightly melancholic vocals.

With the release of their first EP "Equinox Pt1" and it’s sequel "Equinox Pt2" in 2023, the band stepped into the light of publicity.
After signing to Argonauta Records the band was able to celebrate the release of „days of oblivion“ as their debut album in fall 2024.
