Battle Against an Annoying Opponent

So, uh, hello again I guess. Sorry for dying?

To make up for not posting for 2 years, and to celebrate the 3k followers on here that I never celebrated (why???), here's a dump of stuff over the course of two years that I find interesting.

This is the most recent "thing" I've actually sat through and finished -- it was to try out the capabilities of my new guitar that I had just bought, along with also trying out the incredibly excellent Soldano SLO-100 plugin by NeuralDSP. It isn't a mastered mix, since I hadn't really planned on putting it anywhere, it's scrappy, but it makes good enough use of most of the features of the guitar. Plus, a divebomb, with it being my first guitar with a Floyd Rose :)

I don't really plan on stopping music. I have too high expectations of myself, and the posts stopped with me getting self conscious of my quality, lack of feeling self worth during COVID induced lockdowns, anxiety, depression, and, frankly, other hobbies that have presented themselves that I enjoy more than the stress of having to put together an album. So, until the next one eventually comes out, whenever that is, I'm back to posting random shit here. Hope you're all still around to enjoy it.

Submitted for the CRUNCHTIME 02 OST Jam: A small, 16-bit, Cyberpunk inspired album called MEGA NETRUNNER DRIVE! (Made in 48 hours, FL Studio 12)

As well as Cyberpunk, it takes a lot of inspiration from late 90's techno and Sega Mega Drive / Genesis VGM. There's a loose narrative of what it means to be a Netrunner in this neon-90s-Cyberpunk universe, with some high octane and funky tracks to boot!

I've been getting better at music, and I've even started dipping my toes into non-chiptune stuff on Renoise.
This song is meant to be lovely and kinda romantic, while also being jazzy and all.

I did a very simple cover of that. I wanted to see the result, I like how the electric harp fit very well in this, in the future I will do more remixes and covers of Super Smash Bros.
