"Let the water gather and dry land appear", this is how our lands were born? our commander Anatolians Weapons answers this question with a sound triptych that with hypnotic waves will keep you connected to our beloved dancefloor for a long time.

Aggelos Baltas is a veteran of the global electronic music scene, responsible for a handful of celebrated EBM 12”s as Dream Weapons, and a particularly heady and open-ended brand of krautrock as Fantastikoi Hxoi. 

His newest project, Anatolian Weapons, was conceived as a way to bring together these two seemingly mismatched concepts, with the polyrhythmic percussion and wailing tones of Greek folk music serving as their unlikely bonding.

Daddy Squad is no stranger to a cheeky re-edit or bootleg, and comes up trumps here with a mashup between Visage and Billie Ray Martin.

For the music, he lovingly reconstructed Fade To Grey using original synths, such as a Juno60, Arp Solina String Ensemble, and a Linn drum machine, as well as original audio from the original, and then held a gun to the Billie Ray Martin accapella of “Your Loving Arms” and forced a marriage. Not the easiest considering they are different keys, but emotional shifts between the two makes for something truly unique.

Daddy Squad is the project of Andrew Armstrong (formerly of Monarchy) which is going strong on the back of collaborations with burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese, house pioneer S’Express, synth pop legends Zoot Woman and italo disco bears Hard Ton, as well as remixes by the likes of Lauer, Chinaski, Reznik, Rhode & Brown, Hifi Sean and many more.

Nothing Is Real is back for the release number 24 with a retro wave EP coming from the talented Corsica based dj and producer Valerj, which includes 2 stunning remixes by Roe Deers and Amarcord.

Valerj’s debut solo with the title track ‘La Selva’. Thanks to the magic sounds of nature, this tune is a muscular take on dubby electronic music that gradually builds tension and suspense throughout its almost eight-minute duration. The track is followed up soon after with a brilliant remix from the mighty Lithuanian producer, Roe Deers, who brings the distorted and trippy bass to the foreground while decorating the track with additional percussions, effects and melodies.
The EP’s second track ‘Senza Tè’ demonstrates Valerj’s experimental spirit, as tricked-out sequencer arp and uncanny MIDI instrumentation compete for the listener’s attention. This is a truly original and mesmerizingly unique piece of synth-pop music. The Third track ‘Frisco’ wants to confirm the Italo-fingerprint of Valerj’s productions with a main synth who drives into rolling drums, cosmic synths and ethereal voices.

Finishing off the release is the body-mover ‘It’s A New Wave’ Mix of Senza Tè by Amarcord, which slowly builds a head-nodding rhythm from his typical Italo touch with punchy snares, a resonant bass wobble that bring us back to that new wave edge listeners associate with Nothing Is Real.

Rem's Martinez is a French DJ & producer based in Marseille. Since his beginnings in 2014, he never stopped to develop his electronic music career, espacially on this new scene more commonly called "Dark Disco".

In 2015, he founded the Garbure MUSIC crew with friends and organized techno parties by combining local and international artists. Influenced by indie pop, electroclash and new wave culture, Rem's Martinez deliberately plays a retro futuristic and multigenerational musical genre. Finistero Disco" by Mattyuzalem, is a 5 track EP released on Italo Heat and blending Italo-disco and trance elements. Co-founder of the Ryugu collective, Mattyuzalem is part of making the French scene feel alive. 

This EP reflects his diverse musical influences and production skills. It offers an immersive journey, gradually turning the heat as the tracks are progressing. 

Looking ahead, he plans to explore progressive house and trance in his future projects, promising more exciting music. “Back again to Bancel” is a different version from “Back to Bancel” that had a little acid bath for our biggest pleasure.

Raised in a musicians family and passionate about art, she has been practicing dance since childhood, it is in 2022 that Christie decided to go behind the decks.

As an electronic music lover since ever, her style balance between Indie dance (italo, dark disco) and darker vibes like trance, always enhancing her sets with percussion sounds.

In November 2022, she co-founded Club Sauvage with 4 friends, with the aim of promoting electronic music in Paris and Tours, her hometown.

Composed of 3 DJs with eclectic styles, they had the chance to participate in festivals such as les Ilots Electroniques and Aucard de Tours, but also invest the Parisian scene by mixing at la Rotonde, la Java or l'Appart du Badaboum..

House pioneer S’Express teams up again with his long time friend Daddy Squad for another disco fuelled acid excursion.  

On this track, the pair combine a wonky disco loop with some classic authentic acid lines from a 303, and a spoken word vocal that Daddy Squad developed with a friend in Madrid. 
Proclaiming “I am acid, I want acid, I love acid, I adore acid”. But in French, just to twist it out. This is the second outing for the pair, having released a single together in 2022 titled Music4TheMind that was supported extensively.  

Expect more music from this pair as they enjoy exploring all things disco together, which is at the core of the S’Express and Daddy Squad sound.

Ivan Fabra is an eclectic Barcelona-based DJ and artist who was first exposed to electronic music during the late 90s where he frequented clubs. 

He has skillfully mixed his wide music influences and demonstrates his deep love for creating atmospheric pads, groove bass lines and unique cosmic funky-disco sounds with the pure physical energy of club and dance floor sounds in his productions. His sound is defined by powerful drums and driving synths, with a unique touch and a strong ability to blend the past and the future. Sharing a passion for vintage analogue synthesizers.

Best known for his heady mix of nu disco, dreamy balearic, psychedelic house and synth-driven techno along with his ability to read the dance floor has enabled him to work a crowd either warming up with sleazy laid back grooves or ramping things up into peak-time misbehaviour and up into the stratosphere.

Many of his tracks have been remixed by artists like Prins Thomas, Gerd Janson, Alinka, Touch Talk, Manuel Costela, Alberto Melloni, Tech Support, Ainz, Mau Maioli, Sauco, Yuki Tosaya, Ella de Vuono, Vincent Inc., Something’ Sanctified.

Viktoria Jauregui is a DJ and producer born in the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She DJing in different stages of the electronic underground.

Her role as a music producer begins in 2021, creating remixed pieces of songs from indie bands and national electronic labels. She is currently part of Modula, a pure indie dance music label, where she contributes to her productions and is a member of the work team with V.C.I., Flamme, Cosmosolar, Yerno Vil and Basileus. She releases “Quiero”, her participation in the initial Various Artist [MDL001] with the first track of her own authorship, laying the foundations of the label's sound. In April 2024 she releases her next EP “Noche” that will be released on Modula with remixes by Ludmila Fuks and V.C.I.

Hugo Vallejo Dj / Producer from tMexico, began his career in 2012 by performing in different clubs in Puebla and other cities in the country. Throughout his career he has shared the stage with different national talents of international stature such as Technicolor Fabrics, Sussie 4, Theus Mago, W.O.L.F., Colossio, Rafa Navajas (Lemon Mint), Geistech, among others.
Their presentations stand out for their electronic tracks with special touches of Dark Disco, Indie Dance, House and Techno.

He is currently polishing his sound as a producer, marking his style of music as a hybrid of Techno with Rock influences, dark and deep sounds that go very well on the dance floor.
