From the frozen ruins of forgotten realms to the endless skies of alien worlds, OrchraX invites you into a saga where fantasy and science fiction collide. Opening with “The First Legend”, a spoken-word prologue delivered with the weight of ancient prophecy, the journey unfolds across cinematic soundscapes: battles fought beneath shattered moons, ruins echoing with the voices of the past, and destinies written among the stars.

This is more than music — it is a tale told in sound, crafted for dreamers, gamers, and seekers of other worlds. Step beyond the stars, and let the legend begin.

Blood and Starlight

At the heart of this music lies the steel pan — an instrument born in Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the early 20th century.

During the colonial era, African drumming was banned under British rule, out of fear that rhythms could unify enslaved and marginalized communities. Yet, music could not be silenced.

People turned to bamboo sticks, metal containers, and eventually oil drums, transforming restrictions into invention.
From this resilience emerged the steel pan, the first acoustic instrument created in the 20th century.

The word Creole itself speaks of mixture and convergence: in Republic of Trinidad and Tobago it refers to Creole languages shaped by African, European, and Indigenous influences, and more broadly it names cultures formed where worlds collide.

Reflecting this spirit, Creole weaves the luminous timbre of the steel pan with tribal rhythmic currents, embodying hybridity, memory, and the unbroken force of music.

Hi, I’m Tim. Under the name Epigenetics I create electronic ambient music, or as I like to call it: Space Music. 

My style & sound have elements of Downtempo, Psybient and Electronica where I combine strong melodies and driving rhythms with the goal of creating soundtracks for cosmic journeys.

I have been making 'analog' music with my piano and guitar, since I was young, before making the change to electronic music. I think you might hear the influence of that.
These days I use a MIDI keyboard and VST's to record the tracks one by one in Ableton Live. And then do the mastering in Adobe Audition.
