Parlangua - Unused Music

For your consideration, I represent a stereo-downmixed excerpt of my SFX redesign for the trainyard/roundhouse scenes (so far) for my planned fandub to The Little Engine That Could (1991).

Keep in mind that the cover image represents the track's original 5.0 surround mix (minus the LFE channel), and it's highly unlikely that SoundCloud supports 5.1 audio at this point.

As the most joyous day of the season draws near, here's an instrumental recreation to Pepsi's 1989 Nintendo holiday giveaway promotion.

While the 8-bit chiptune rendition of "Deck the Halls" was painstakingly edited in Audacity (using FamiTracker recordings of short melody edits from an NSF file of Super Mario Bros), the opening and closing portions are arranged in BandLab's Cakewalk using an assortment of VSTs (from Roland D-50 to CineSymphony LITE) that sound almost (but not) exact as the samples used in the original.

Feel free to use this instrumental for your own redub or modern remake of the original commercial, as long as credit is given.
