I have said it before... It's always great to meet new people. When you get booked to play at a 3 day burn in the middle of nowhere you are more or less bound to meet like minded people. These young cats from Gothenburg played after me and really brought it. And they played a hybrid live set which was unexpected. I just remembered dancing through their whole set and afterwards feeling really good.

This mix is sixty minutes pure eargasm. Melodic Techno alá Afterlife combined and mixed elegantly like an acid cocktail with dmt on top as the cherry. Taking you through space and time to end you up on a massive dance floor in your mind. Ohh man! Can you feel it? No? Then listen to the mix and let me know.

Again... Meeting new people is one of the best things I know and it's even better when you meet people with similar interests. OLAVI, one of the co-founders and head honcho at the Trusted Tracks label, is one of the few people I have met who has a similar track selection as me. I guess that's why I have listened to this mix a gazillion times now. It speaks to me on a different level and you can hear that the mix is done by a person who really knows what he's doing. It is sooo made for the dance floor it is scary and you understand why OLAVI is one of the best names coming out of Gothenburg at the moment. I also love the fact that this mix takes you deep and dark through a landscape of beautiful and emotional sounds that evens everything out and gives you OLAVI. Balance within the chaos. Without getting all namaste on you here but you know... yin and yang and all that crap. A perfectly balanced techno cocktail. Thank you brother, next time i see you i demand a B2B session. "Originally from Novosibirsk, Russia, Dan has a solid experience in electronic dance music being involved for more than 15 years as a record label A&R, DJ, event manager, musician and record reviewer.

He is currently busy in the studio working on tracks for the new Rhythm Design project together with his partner in crime Anton Vishniakov (Rise And Fall, Bonzai Progressive, Particles, Perfecto) as well as managing Beat Talk Records and Wide Range Records, aiming to provide the best cutting edge sounds in Progressive House, Tech-House and Techno.

The big break for Rhythm Design came in mid 2017 when their remix of Bedrock Records classic, Tijuana "Groove Is In The Air", has been featured on the Bedrock Frequencies compilation and received plays from John Digweed, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo.

As a DJ Dan first stepped on the stage in 2001 and since then has appeared at numerous events with gigs stretching to Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Europe and most recently Central America. He performed alongside many respected DJs and producers including Tomcraft, Marcus Schossow, The Panacea, DJ Promo, Electric Indigo, Fanu, Mark Maitland to name just a few, showcasing himself as a versatile DJ capable of working in a wide variety of styles from Deep House and Garage to Progressive House and Techno. **THE STORY**

At the dawn of the 19th century, a shadow is cast upon the Scottish shores of Loch Sìne. 

Childhood companions Isla and Struan, bound by the sea and an unspoken promise, are torn from each other's lives. Pressured by duty, Struan joins the British Navy, leaving Isla with a precious gift and a vow to return. But the years apart bring many changes - both at home and at sea.

As Struan is set to return, a rot has taken hold in the village. The men have grown weak, their traditions abandoned, and their leaders corrupted. From across the waves, Isla, gifted with second sight, witnesses a horrifying vision: an unholy force attacking Struan's fleet.

Her warnings to the men of the village are ignored. Despite a storm, Isla takes to her boat in a desperate search for Struan, who she senses is fighting a losing battle.
Now, as the demonic tide finally crashes ashore, their childhood promise becomes an epic quest. 

Confronting the darkness, is the light they hold enough to pull the world back from the brink?
