This September will see the launch of the Benthic imprint with the ‘Assurance’ EP by Tbilisi, Georgia based artist Lucid Void (Arts Gallery).

Benthic is a new imprint coming out Istanbul, Turkey and aesthetically leaning towards deep, dubby and ambient Techno sonically with its releases. Here to inaugurate the launch of the imprint, Georgia’s Lucid Void offers up four originals of hazy, nuanced deep techno.

Leading the release is ‘Envision’, laid out across five and a half minutes with bubbling percussive delays and broken drums alongside menacing bass swells and hypnotic chants. Title-track ‘Assurance’ follows next, shifting focus to robust 4/4 drums rhythmically while stirring in an amalgamation of cinematic synth textures and choppy bass stabs.

Following to kick-start the flip side is ‘Objection’, bringing a circling, dynamic and gritty bass lead to the forefront while resonant, modulating synths and tension building strings ebb and flow atop a dynamic drum groove. ‘Dogma’ then rounds out the release on a darker tip, bringing grinding bass tones, distorted rhythms and glass like chimes into the limelight.

With „Lichtenberg Mambo“ Son Error affirms his love for the Berlin district and all kinds of weird noises and haunting sequences from old synthesizers and modular systems. Embedded in fast-paced and groovy rhythms, the EP is a reminiscence to hard minimal techno on the verge of avant-garde sonic experiments.

Con orígenes en ritmos vibrantes e impulsada por una pasión inagotable por la exploración sonora, Ana Rs destaca como productora versátil y DJ ecléctica.

Ana dejó huella en 2023 con su EP "Take Me There" en el icónico sello Symbolism de Ben Sims, consolidando su presencia en el panorama internacional. Su sonido ha seguido evolucionando, adentrándose en los ámbitos hipnóticos y experimentales del techno, marcados por la tensión, la contundencia y la complejidad de los detalles. En junio de 2024, lanzó "In the Warmth of the Red Lights" en SEMANTICA, el influyente sello de Svreca, un lanzamiento que refleja su creciente influencia en el género. Un año después, debutó en Float Records con “Not Yet Born, But Heard”, un EP de cuatro temas que muestra su singular enfoque de la música techno. Su discografía también incluye sellos como Illegal Alien Records, Observant, Ac5id y Future Arikive, teniendo previstos más lanzamientos emocionantes para este año. Recientemente ha publicado podcasts exclusivos en PoleGroup y Slam Radio.

Más allá del estudio, Ana se ha consolidado como una artista global, actuando por toda Europa, Asia y Sudamérica, en salas de prestigio como Tresor Berlin, RSO Berlin, Vent Tokyo, Dommune o Garden Club entre otros. Además, es la fuerza creativa detrás de los eventos de Interakt, una plataforma a través de la cual desafía las normas y crea experiencias innovadoras en la escena de la música electrónica.

Happy to share the recording of my set at CROW in Madrid. The crowd, the sound, the flow — everything came together to make it an incredible night. The recording really captures that atmosphere, and I’m glad it’s now out there to relive. Full set is linked in my bio.

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to welcome the talented DJ & producer : Uun. 

Uun's techno blends widescreen grayscale imagery with propulsive dancefloor pressure. Whether crafting what Hardwax dubs "straight ahead techno juggernauts" or deep, introspective  tools, his work is grounded in a masterful command of atmosphere and texture.

Uun developed his interest in fringe sounds as a guitarist and drummer in his hometown of Kansas City before shifting his attention to electronic music in 2012. This led him to relocate to Detroit, where he spent seven years pushing deeper into the underground techno scene, refining his production and performance methods. Between the Midwest and several periods in
Berlin—another city he's found a deep connection to—he's honed a style that's allowed his music to nimbly navigate between different subgenres, "quietly infiltrating" the genre from multiple angles at once.

Uun's sound and his ability to mold it into a variety of forms has captured the attention of lauded techno labels like Mord, Semantica, and Soma. On his own Ego Death imprint, he pushes past genre confines and deeper into his music's underlying themes, exploring existentialism, duality, and the role of the artist in the modern era. His first full length, 2022's Derealization, interrogated
dreams through rebuilding memories of liminal spaces, and on his latest Ego Death release, 2024's Platform Decay, he laces his tracks with a poignant criticism of social media-driven cultural homogenization while doubling down on his own uncompromising sound.

As a live performer, Uun distills years of his studio practice into cathartic sets that build off his productions while pushing them into exploratory new territory. His live show has taken him to legendary clubs like Berlin's Tresor, Tbilisi's Khidi, Detroit's Movement Festival, and Brookyln's
Basement, and alongside the decade-plus of releases under his belt, it's safe to say Uun's infiltration of techno might not be so quiet for much longer.
