Jean, better known by his stage name ePrHom, is an electronic music artist deeply rooted in the techno scene since his teenage years. Originally from Brittany, he was introduced early on to the world of alternative music, starting out by hosting shows on a local radio station. This first experience with music media marked the beginning of a long and passionate journey into electronic culture.

It didn’t take long before Jean moved behind the decks, organizing his first events in Brittany, and later in Haute-Savoie, where he eventually settled. Alongside event promotion, his curiosity for sound design led him to explore music production as a self-taught artist. His first pieces of gear – notably a Yamaha RS7000 and an EMU XL7 – laid the foundation for his sonic identity.

From the start, ePrHom embraced a live-oriented approach, developing an evolving setup that allowed for an organic and immersive musical experience. As vice-president of the Illusion Sonor collective, he performed in numerous events, delivering powerful and hypnotic live sets, often infused with industrial textures and psychotropic atmospheres.

For over a decade now, ePrHom has been refining his unique sound, moving between Progressive Techno, Minimal, and Tribe. His signature lies in sharp rhythms, modular soundscapes, and entrancing grooves. Inspired both by the pioneers of the underground and emerging sonic trends, his artistic path remains guided by experimentation and raw emotion.

Today, ePrHom continues to expand his musical universe as a producer with UTH Records and MTC Records, releasing new tracks, collaborating with fellow artists, and performing live to bring his evolving sound to the stage.

Jean, plus connu sous le nom de scène ePrHom, est un artiste passionné de musique électronique, ancré dans la scène techno depuis son adolescence. Originaire de Bretagne, il découvre très tôt l’univers des musiques alternatives, et commence à explorer sa passion en animant des émissions sur une radio locale. Ce premier contact avec le milieu musical marque le début d’un parcours profondément engagé dans la culture électronique.

Rapidement, Jean passe de l’autre côté des platines en organisant ses premières soirées en Bretagne, puis en Haute-Savoie, où il s’installe par la suite. Son envie de créer va de pair avec sa curiosité technique : il se plonge alors dans l’apprentissage de la production musicale, en autodidacte. Ses premières acquisitions – notamment une Yamaha RS7000 et une EMU XL7 – deviennent les instruments fondateurs de son identité sonore.

Son approche est résolument live : il développe un setup évolutif, au service d’une musique organique et immersive. Au sein de l’association Illusion Sonor, dont il est vice-président pendant plusieurs années, il se produit sur scène dans de nombreuses soirées, livrant des sets puissants et hypnotiques, souvent teintés de textures industrielles et psychotropes.

Depuis une dizaine d’années, ePrHom affine son style, oscillant entre Techno Progressive, Minimal, et Tribe, avec une signature sonore reconnaissable : rythmique tranchante, nappes modulaires et grooves envoûtants. Sa démarche artistique, influencée autant par les pionniers de la scène underground que par les nouvelles tendances, reste toujours tournée vers l’expérimentation et l’émotion brute.

Aujourd’hui, ePrHom poursuit son aventure musicale en tant que producteur au sein des labels UTH Records et MTC Records, où il continue de développer son univers sonore à travers des sorties régulières, des collaborations et des performances live.
