VADI found his passion in the speakers of Berlin nightclubs and the pulse of Bristol raves.  Not one to sit on his laurels, VADI has been honing his talent in the local scene, carving out his own niche on the east coast of Australia. VADI'S eccentric personality and humor seep into his tracks, creating a refreshing take on a timeless electronic sound.

Since fusing their creative worlds in 2014, Martin Vice and Michael Banel emerged on the international scene as an exciting and powerful duo, quickly enthralling audiences around the globe. 

Their self-titled collaboration, MVMB, focuses on delivering a slick and intelligent sound taking listeners on a journey with not only their sets but their accumulating releases. The first full-length album in 2016, The sleeper Must Awaken (Iboga Records), effortlessly explores the boundaries between techno and progressive psy-trance to deliver a deep, driving and hypnotic soundscape. Intentionally crafted to take listeners on an interstellar journey connecting them to the almost mythical trance dance sensation, the album was received with acclaim.

Taking the bpm down a notch while turning up the heat, their 2019 second album Phase 01 (IbogaTech) traverses the atmospherics of a melodic techno sound that retains a hint of trance. Their next, eagerly awaited step in the journey will see them arrive in Peak Techno town in 2022, ready to demolish dance floors with melodic mayhem.

Delivering powerful performances responsive to the energetic needs of the dance floor, MVMB is a versatile act available for bookings to present melodic techno, peak time techno or progressive trance sets.
The debut album "The Sleeper Must Awaken" were released on Iboga Records, adding to the labels very impressive stable of artists and quality releases.

In 2016-17 the duo have started producing a techno album and developed a new DJ concept mixing own tracks with their favourite inspirations from the techno scene.

THE STORY
The Cymatic Empire are energetic beings that come from a dimension of sound and light. They have been summoned by the collective consciousness to battle dark energies that threaten Gaia and the life she supports. 

They have manifest themselves into the physical form to communicate with humans in the universal language of music and dance. Through this medium, they will transmit secret codes to  listeners. When enough people have received these codes a gateway between worlds will open letting in the legion of cymatic forces to vanquish the evil that has plagued humanity for millennia.

Cymatic Empire is a uplifting psytrance project between Joel “Syzmix” de Ross from Melbourne and Zac “Bornvibe” Wood from Brisbane. Warren O'neil is featured in most of their tracks as their laser guitarist.

The 3 together are a LIVE performance consisting of DJ, Synthesiser & Guitar. 

CYMATIC EMPIRE is a project dedicated to Its mother BIONIC EMPIRE, to pay homage to the PsyPneumatix Records label from Melbourne Australia for its signature melodic fullon sound from the year 2001 onwards . 

While they have crafted a unique style that sets them apart from others in the scene, it's their strategy to push the boundaries of Virtual Reality as a new way to experience music that defines them. 

The upcoming album, “The Artefact”, being released on UP records in 2018 will be the first ever gamified Virtual Reality music album.

Deep in the jungle hinterlands of Byron Bay, a Rainbird hatched, embarking on an exploration of how music affects the brain in a collective environment - for instance, a dancefloor.

Rainbird is a boundless experimental 4x4 project, blending psychedelia with a fresh new age twist throughout hefty basslines with snappy tendencies, falling somewhere in between bush techno, prog, house and glitch hop.

After years working with Zenon Records, Kalya Scintilla’s Merkaba Music and Smoke Sign’s Werk It Music, Rainbird is now a core member of the Stone Seed family, spearheading the Australian bush techno movement. From his acclaimed Naturalist, Naturalist Remixed and Cicada EPs (Stone Seed) through to The Inquisitor (Perfect Stranger’s Digital Structures imprint) and Desiderata Remix (Canada’s Techgnosis Records), Rainbird has proven his position on the forefront of the outdoor music contemporary culture.

Originally performing at doofs and festivals with all original DJ/live sets at just 16 years old, Rainbird has evolved into a regular and favoured performer at Splendour In The Grass, Rabbits Eat Lettuce & Bohemian Beatfreaks, whilst also gracing Esoteric, Mushroom Valley, Subsonic Music Festival, Origins of Entropy, and all corners of the country.

Unable to contain his creativity to just one guise, Rainbird pioneers two other projects of equal musical genius: Organic Distortion (progressive psytrance project signed to Iboga Records and Alien Records) and Square Eyes (DNB / dubstep).
