"Welcome To Masomenos" returns this March 2017 with a four-track collaborative EP from the labelheads alongside Ark and Pit Spector. Masomenos has carved out it’s own niche as a protieform art project over the years, operating as a record label, art, crafts, design and live installations operation to create a full circle enthralling experience. The record label now marks its forty-second release here and the back catalogue can boast collaborative material from many respected names in the electronic music industry such as Cabanne, Jay Haze, Cesar Merveille and many more amongst the impressive original output from the label owners themselves. This time round Masomenos team up with two fellow Parisian’s, namely Ark and Pit Spector, who between them have releases on labels such as Hold Youth, Circus Company and Versatile. Up first is ‘Les Acolytes Anonymes’ which sees the duo and Ark deliver a jazz-tinged intricate number laid out over nine minutes with glitched out sample chops, bumpy drum hits and thunderous bass swells. ‘Ok Carole’ follows, again featuring Ark and lays focus on a heady stripped-back aesthetic with low-slung drums running with a subtly blooming chugging bass lead throughout. Following and premiered here is the third and final collaboration with Ark entitled "Au Haut Eau", an infectious dropped-tempo slice of house employing shuffled percussion, snaking subs and soft stab sequences alongside mindbending vocal murmurs. Lastly to complete the package Masmomenos team up with Pit Spector for "Totoloto", retaining a similarly heady, tripped-out feel via organic wooden percussive melodies, spiraling atmospherics and the signature Masomenos rhythmic swin.

Greenfish - Untouched Feelings (VieL Remix)

With its first release, Eyedyllic Music lays some cement which reveals some of the label’s core blueprint elements. The label has been formed by co-partners Mik Santoro and Kev Obrien, with an aim toward releasing what they consider to be “beautiful, authentic and unpretentious electronic music”, with no genre barriers.
Obrien himself steps up to kick things off in suitable fashion with “So Far Away'. His first single since 2011, Obrien produced it in collaboration with the revered Scottish vocalist, Ian Whitelaw (notably known for his many collaborations with deep house legend, Phonique)
So Far Away indubitably lives up to the aforementioned Eyedyllic esthetique. The track’s moody, key-laden groove lays a perfect foundation for an extraordinary vocal and lyrical performance from Ian Whitelaw, who sings a heartfelt song about his own experience; one which coincidentally matched up with a very similar experience Obrien had been going through when he approached Whitelaw about doing a collaboration, last winter. 
On remix duties, the multi-talented Tone of Arc turns in a rendition that defies all genre boundaries and stands in a world of its own. It's pounding kick makes way to luscious strings, and the mix eventually leads to a funkadelic climax of epic proportions.

Release number fifteen on San Francisco’s Manjumasi revisits the Atish + Friends EP, with a diverse collection of remixes from a serious roster of producers. Leading the charge is Berlin’s Andre Lodemann, who delivers an interpretation of Atish and Mark Slee’s “Chameleon” in his classic style, combining intricate percussion and steadily building interwoven synth lines. With its deep pulsing bass texture, the result is a complex and heady track with a crescendo of energy. Next up is Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada, a powerhouse production duo whose version of “Chameleon” is a deep and chuggy journey through the track’s landscapes, slightly slowed down to really let the textures shine. The third remix on the package sees Brooklyn-based Brian Cid return to the label with a deep and driving interpretation of Atish and Tim Engelhardt’s “Bullfrog,” employing a hypnotic hang-drum riff to work in unison with the original’s stabby synth lines. Closing out the package are two versions of Atish and Bengal’s “Tortoise.” DoubtingThomas strips the lush track down to its bare elements, letting each element shine in a more minimal version well-suited for the quirky late-night dancefloors or the afterhours. Finally, label A&R rep Naveen G kicks up the energy and turns in a stormer, with hints of progressive energy, an insistent bassline and trippy psychedelic arpeggios.
