Stasis James AKA Eclectic Drops AKA Nate, a 47 year old phonetic wordsmith, who is a stubborn enthusiast of the Hip Hop art form. Thrilled to be a long time participant in this grass rooted global movement, he insists that the original fundamental elements of this God inspired art form must be maintained, regardless of the stifling efforts of those less informed of the negative influence and decaying standards in popular rap music, AND it's effect on impressionable young minds who hear it. The played out business model that infests commercial mainstream radio waves suggests that instant gratification success, unrealistic materialism, womanizing, artificial standards of beauty, stylized violence and cliche notions of ignorant manhood are in fact the fundamentals that made Hip Hop a global movement to begin with.
I beg to differinciate a bit on that super-capitalistic dictatorship. Any adult that witnessed the end of disco and the emergence of early hip hop will agree that turntablism, emceeing, breakdancing and graph art are in fact the original four street elements that spawned the freshest and most influencial musical movement in human history (along with classic rock and roll it could be debated).
Sadly both rock and roll and hip hop have been inevitably been subject to human greed and eventually corporate entities got their greedy mitts on them, converting these once fresh and vibrant art forms into "bubble gum" - a watered down and commercialized form of sound, less potent and meant to sell units instead of maintaining fresh ideas and brilliant concepts that promote prolific feelings in those who hear it.

I been around the block a bit. Dabble in DJing for years. I am going to be uploading some music soon. I play primarily Drum and bass/Metalstep though I play all aspects of music and looking to be creative.

Stasis James is a eclectic collage of many influences. A hip hop head ever since the early 80's, he also enjoys most other musical jandras except the commercial mainstream. 
A functional schizophrenic, he is an empathetic advocate of social justice, human equality and maintains this standard in his music with a message. 
Stasis James is also one of the two contributors in the hip hop duo "Syntactics" along with his old comrade +qnp (producer, dj and fellow rhymer). The group released its final project "Argot" in 2012, available on i tunes just a year before +qup disappeared without a trace somewhere on the east coast. 
This mystery had initially sent Stasis James into a rampage of aggressive moral outrage, releasing several angry, short sighted projects, with the intention of raising awareness to the human rights violations that rendered him ostracized and homeless in the bay area.  His next stop was Stockton Cali, where the cost of living was more viable, then after some more intermittent displacement he wound up "Stuck in Lodi" on Main street, where he can afford to live and record a few new jams.
