Intercept is proud to introduce Breda-based visual artist and musician Mathilde Nobel with her debut EP called 'Stone'.

The EP starts with 'Thunder'. A cello and minimal, but supporting, instrumentation set the stage for Mathilde's vocals to shine. The song takes you into a downward spiral into Mathilde's psyche finally coming to a climax that feels like rain clattering on the castle's courtyard.

We're then taken to the lead track 'Stone' which combines strong bass grooves, loud, thunder-like, crashes, and deconstructed beats with Mathilde's singing.

'A' builds on that abstract side of the EP, and interchanges melodies for experimental percussion and beats. It's a dizzying experience where snares and lo-fi drum hits build-up to the final outro of the EP, concluding the story.

'Stone EP' is a unique endeavor in the inner workings of a young artist showing full potential in such an early stage.

Axefield is back. After his introduction on the Intercept V/A with his incredible 'Slug' the Amsterdam-based producer is now back with his Intercept EP debut called 'Cocktail Culture'.

The 4 track-EP takes you through different chapters of the Axefield sound, each track with a playful and adventurous edge that's sure to surprise you.

Opener 'Cricket Drum' is a southside 808 inspired tune, combined with Dutch trance synth work. It makes for an odd combination that surprisingly works well. We're safe to say that we can't wait to hear this one out in a club environment.

'Soothe The Hyperactive Mind' does exactly the opposite as the title suggest. This 150 bpm floater feels lightfooted, but surprises at every turn with its deep basslines and joyful synth stylings. 

Title track 'Cocktail Culture' takes you to a more relaxing side, cocktail in hand. The off-kilter drums are combined with vocal chops that work in a hypnotizing fashion, taking you to the track we know Axefield from: 'Slug'.

Ineffekt presents Kora, his 10 track debut album on Intercept. In around 40 minutes, the 19-year-old takes you through his colorful springtime of youth, sonically painting a picture with a diverse and vibrant set of sounds that feel like the first rays of sunshine after a long winter. 

Through a blend of glistening vocal pieces, strings of dreamy melodies, and distinctive rhythms, Ineffekt cleverly takes on a sound that both feels comfortable and illusive. It’s a nonchalant approach with ephemeral peaks of emotion that result in a combination of colorful and groovy songs. 

After the success of his EP ‘Solaris’ (2020) on Intercept, Ineffekt further cements his sound all while positioning himself between the club world, and the pop hemisphere. Catchy motifs are interchanged with grooves that feel like a constant drive towards the horizon. Standout tracks ‘Cascades’, ‘In a Flash’ and ‘Kora’ all show his tendency for anthemic sentiment, all while keeping depth and clarity to his sound. 

The record further reveals its diversity by going into more filmic and peculiar tracks such as ‘Vibrant Bands of Yellow’ and ’See You Blossom’, while also diving deeper into feelings of nostalgia and ambivalence. The juxtaposition of these two sides show a young artist, fully in bloom as the flowers he surrounds himself with.

We proudly welcome back German maestro Sascha Braemer to Sincopat, this time for his first solo EP on the label after providing a huge remix for AFFKT some months ago. The forward-thinking 'Vyolence' EP includes three original tracks and one remix by the proven talents Florian Kruse and Julian Wasserman.
'Vyolence' opens the fireworks with an unpredictable slice of electronic music. A mixture of several influences, huge synth layers are treated into a solid base making a crossover timeless piece that perfectly reflects the legendary Braemer's sound. For the remix duties, Florian and Julian offer a groovy re-interpretation also difficult to pigeonhole in a certain style, with a great new bass but still keeping the essence of the original one. On 'Analog Garden' Sascha presents another bomb with a remarkable synth as a hook along the track, more and more pure sounds are developed in the surprising breakdown that leads to madness. 'Capella' is closing the EP with an avant- garde atmosphere that, for sure, will make the release a new step forward in the Braemer sound and discography.
