From Berlin via Tel Aviv comes Moscoman, the music producer behind the underground hit ‘Fernandez’, released last year on Eskimo Recordings. We have invited Red Axes to remix. Support from Optimo, Michael Mayer, Marcus Marr, Psychemagik, Acid Pauly, In Flagranti, Jacques Renault, Headman, Kasper Bjorke, Shir Khan, Rory Phillips, Bottin, Pete Herbert, Doctor Dru…

Moscoman’s original is extremely catchy, incorporating punchy claps and an almost psychedelic melody with a bassline that seamlessly brings all the parts together. Red Axes spin their own charm into ‘Fernandez’ creating a more dramatic affair crafted through powerful percussion yet holding onto the original playful melodies. In Moscoman’s own words “this one is super special, it’s a killer!"
 
From Berlin via Tel Aviv comes Moscoman. His music can be found on on Eskimo Recordings, ESP Institute, Correspondant and I'm a Cliché. Mosco's distinctive sound, which takes in elements of techno, new wave, house and the sounds of his native Middle East, has seen him quickly soar to prominence via his own production, his remix work, his DJing style and has now further been cemented by the success of his up and coming record label Disco Halal.
 
Red Axes is a project created by Tel Aviv based producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi who have been performing together for a long time but first released as Red Axes in 2009. Their music can be found on labels such as Correspondant, Hivern Discs and Throne Of Blood. More recently they have appeared on Crosstown Rebels as part of ’Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons Remixes From The Other Side’ following an EP on the label last year.

In the early nineties, DJ Pierre would release a track that would come to define a sound and serve as a precedent for its genre. Now ‘Let Music Take You High’ is back on Get Physical Music. 
Laid in the capable hands of some of our top talent, we present five outstanding remixes alongside the 'Original Yo Yo’ and 'Vocal’ mixes, including DJ Pierre’s new Wild PiTcH Mix. And speaking of, the first stop is the new Wild PiTcH Mix, where DJ Pierre has turned up the intensity and thrown a fair bit of grit in for good measure. Curated for the modern dancefloor, the track delivers a strong punch and a seductive groove. 
Kevin Over takes the track into a darker, more ominous direction – worthy of the underground – while displaying a brilliant feel for the house rhythm. 
Midway through and we’ve got Olivier Giacomotto’s remix up. Laying down a very inviting atmosphere down before catching us with a grungy bassline sequence, the track is a step in a new direction, using the vocal element sparingly yet cleverly. 
Before treating us to the muted crunch of the bassline, System of Survival first enchant us with a warm and soothing intro. 
The final remix come from one of Brazil’s finest; Davis. He’s gone heavy here, throwing down a kick made for the hungry floors. From here on it’s pure magic, a delicate blend of techno and house that almost lands closer to techno than house.

Honey Soundsystem Records (aka HNYTRX) is pleased to present its final twelve inch of 2016, the ‘Sensual Works’ EP by Beesmunt Soundsystem. Unbeknownst to each other, the Honey crew in San Francisco and the Beesmunt duo in Amsterdam have been brothers from another mother working away in their respective zones for years. A bit of internet sleuthing and the two entities found each other, perplexed by the similarities in namesake and good vibes. Before exchanging a single word, earlier this year David and Luigi of Beesmunt sent Honey some demos. They were a declaration of peace and understanding of sorts and both "sound systems" immediately fell into one. The three tracks romanced all the Honey sensibilities including references to San Francisco 80's Hi-HRG synths, early House drum machine workouts, and melodic lines you can make-out on a dancefloor to. To make the marriage official, Honey enlisted its own Jason Kendig to remix the A-side into a no-nonsense thumper with a heart of gold. We think these tunes are going to become as reliable on the dancefloor as the Sequential Circuits drum sounds and DX7 patches they employ. Whether it be ending sets with the euphoric “Blissed Out” or peak-time banging call and response of “Playin' Myself”, Honey finally shares its best kept secret weapons of the year with the eager public.
