Seattle-based DJ and producer David Turner is the creative force behind House Music Asylum, a collective known for its diverse blend of house and techno sounds. With a reputation for versatility, David's sets span across genres like techno, tech house, progressive, trance, and deep house, captivating audiences around the world with unforgettable performances.

Born into a musical family, David's father was a guitarist, and growing up in Seattle, he was immersed in music from an early age also playing many musical instruments. This early exposure, coupled with a natural talent for rhythm, ignited his passion for sound. In 1995, David ventured into music production, creating his first techno tracks and exploring the vast possibilities of electronic music. This creative spark would evolve into a decades-long career, establishing him as a fixture in the global techno scene.

By 2011, David expanded his musical journey into DJing, driven by a desire to share his evolving sound with a larger audience. His DJ sets are known for their masterful curation—seamlessly blending driving beats with rich, atmospheric soundscapes that leave a lasting impact on listeners. His unique style has earned him a reputation as a sought-after DJ, recognized for his ability to create captivating, immersive experiences.

Today, David has achieved global recognition, particularly through his innovative David Turner Music Show on Twitch. The show, known for its high production value and interactive elements, has become a trailblazer in online music streaming, amassing over 130,000 hours of watched content. The show's ever-growing fan base has helped cement David's status as an internationally recognized DJ, with a strong connection to both live and virtual audiences.

In addition to his DJ career, David is the founder of House Music Asylum, a global collective of over 50 DJs. Through this network, he has fostered a community of artists dedicated to exploring and promoting house music in all its forms. As David continues to push the boundaries of techno, tech house, and progressive house, his influence on the global electronic music scene remains as powerful as ever, ensuring his legacy for years to come.
