Our bye-bye series was started at the end of 2020 because we were boiling with this rage and desire to dance, to let go, to get out of this mind-bending and delirious reality we all found ourselves trapped in. Locked in our apartments, we were all going mad, burning with doubt, fear, and uncertainty. 

The first compilation was our love letter to the dance floors we missed and a promise to come back soon. Two years later, as we kiss goodbye to 2022, we blow our kisses to a year that has had its own share of darkness. But within which we found hope. We leave a year where the global stage seems more unstable and the future more uncertain than ever. But it is a year where we found our friends again, met our loved ones again, and found a new breath of life. 

This compilation is our celebration of this newfound hope. One filled with energy, boasting smiles, and love. We welcome 11 new members to the BinarySound family with a heavily packed album, full of surprises. We’re calling out to all the dancers with that burning fire, we hope you’ll find just the energy you need.

Mix08 is from Thomazz, an enthusiastic DJ and producer from a small town Žiri in Slovenia. He organizes parties and plays around Slovenia, as a member of Sw:idr collective and Connected, most notably at Butik Festival and as a resident of the notorious Klub K4 -- playing alongside some of our favorite artists like ERIS, P.O, Muten, Urban Jeram, Nico Etorena, Luis Malon, Jorge Gamarra, Raphael Carrau, Unai Trotti, Vass, Anthea...
We had the pleasure to meet him in Croatia at Dimensions Festival when he started to get his feet wet abroad, where I got to experience a private after hours with him, and many great hours of dancing on the dancefloor, followed by his hosted after party at Loca Villa (catch you there next year!) 

He is a DJ with wide music spectrum moving between techno, electro, house and breakbeat preferring a bit darker and groovy records that make you dance, and a HUGE amount of passion and love for music, for DJing, and for community. We are very happy to have him share some of his collection with his new vinyl only mix for our series!
