Submotion arrives with a solo debut for Erculean Recordings, following his collaboration with Merkey recently titled 'Immerse EP'.  This is a top drawer release from the UK based producer, and it starts with a bang with the title track 'Dreaming'. It gives you the goosebumps from the first synth, a stunning opening sequence and introduction of the really effective vocal.  The lead drone is fantastic and paves the way for the epic bassline to kick in. The atmosphere it creates for itself is off the scale and this is sure to impress the dnb heads out there. The kicks are chunky and clean, the breakdown is full of space and is delightfully inspiring. The drop is delayed and slightly unexpected which is refreshing. The top end vocal with the high end bass change is brilliant. Great track from the Portsmouth based producer. Accompanying 'Dreaming' is 'Heaven'. This is quality in it's own right. Another top level release, the sub and kicks are next level,  and really punch. This is going to be a dancefloor destroyer when the clubs reopen! Echomatics arrives at the Erculean imprint with this massive double EP titled 'The Other Side EP'. Title track 'The Other Side' is an absolute gem, which has a bit of everything. The opening sequence is mesmerisingwith a wonderful atmosphere.  Then introducing the leading synth,  effective much? Sure is!! The kicks are clean, crisp and punchy and the fx are perfect. The sub drop is big and sits with the drum structure and synth like peas in a pod. The sub cuts right through you, and the lead overlay synth is magical. This is a big track from Echomatics, showing huge diversity, creativity and a real eye for detail. The bass fills are immense and add to what is already a massive track. The spacy pad introduction after the second drop are ridiculously good and they bind everything together really well. Superb track from start to finish, this is sure to be played everywhere! No doubts! Accompanying this is another fine track worthy of being a title track in it's own right. 'What Else', gives you everything you want as a dnb fan. Another airy introduction with a stunning vocal, the vocal brings in the sub and bass combo really well, and what a combo it is. The sub and bass structure are off the scale, and the overlay arps are delightful. The second drop is a delight and we will look forward to this being blasted out on speakers around the globe. The synths are magical, big track and great flow from Echomatics. A true pleasure to listen to and drift away into another consciousness to. Ji Ben Gong debuts for Erculean Recordings with this absolute monster 4-track EP titled 'Crossing Paths EP'. Ji Ben Gong is no stranger to this scene and is very highly acclaimed within the industry having hosted well supported shows on Bassdrive radio for 5 years. His music being released on all the big players shows his level and production skill. Title track 'Crossing Paths' is a nice light hearted release, with serious vibes. The kick and bass combos are next level, and the groove is unrivalled. The melody is infectious and the bass structure is impressive to say the least. The vocal and vocal fx are sublime and really add to the depth of the track, a special track. The change-up later in the track is fantastic, this is a good solid track. Joining 'Crossing Paths' is firstly, 'Deeper Inside'. and yet again this has a real catchy vocal and brilliant melody keys.The synths are quality and the pads are clean and vibrant working really nicely together. The sub bass introduction is second to none and the journey is beautiful. Also, accompanying you will find 'Infinity', and what an impressive addition. Bringing the beat introduction this time, allowing for more time to divulge with the synth. A great build up to the bassline, and pow!! well worth the wait, the bass kicks and really packs a punch. A really nice atmospheric dnb track this for the masses. And last but certainly not least we have Ji Ben Gong's remix of Zilli's - Sao Paulo, and this is really good from start to finish. The piano melody and the vocal certainly steal the show in this one, nice bassline to accompany the huge melody line. The pads are stunning and work so well, leading way to the bass structure. Near Edge returns to Erculean Recordings following up from his previous release 'Summer Light EP'. This time he is back with another double EP titled 'Breathing EP', and this is a beaut. Title track 'Breathing' starts withy a really intriguing piano solo introduction leading into a very addictive vocal. The synth overlays are exceptional and the flow is fantastic. The breakdown is nice and mellow with a vocal infusion, the piano joins the party and everything works in perfect harmony. The bass and percussion are really tight. This is a quality track from the Ozzy-based producer. Accompanying the title track is 'Luminence', this has a stunning introductory opening sequence. Very airy, a nice male vocal sample and lovely keys. The sub bass punches and the drum sequence is really effective. The keys and the vocal drive the track through, with a really catchy groove to the track. The latter part of the track when the drum n bass goes acapella really appeals too. He's back with a brilliant double EP titled 'When I'm With You EP'. Title track 'When I'm With You', is absolutely perfect from start to finish. A glorious intro, nice and airy with beautiful synth fills and a really impressive and intriguing vocal fx. The keys are luscious and work so beautifully with the bass notes and the FX. The 'when i'm with you vocal', is brief and really effective and a track that will notably sit in your head for a while... a sign of a great track. The groove and flow are always perfect in Twintone's catalogue. The whole track is ridiculously captivating with everything fusing so well, allowing you to get lost in the moment. Solid kick and percussion structure which is consistent every time and the attention to detail is off the chart. Accompanying the title track is 'Styx & Stones' featuring our very own Jason Faulkner. Yes, your eyes are certainly not deceiving you.... but he has found his vocal feet and features as the vocalist on Twintone's joint EP release. Another mustard track from the Germany based producer, and he sets his own bar so high. The emotion this track gives is breathtaking. A true testament to the producer and vocalist in this instance as the keys and synths are real head-turning sounds. The bass is delightful and the kicks and percussion as stated in the description prior is nothing but perfect. Everything works so well and seems so clean every time.
