Elliot Benjamin is an English/Indian guitarist who specialises in steel-string fingerpicking. He utilises alternative tunings to explore improvisations within structure. Elliot has travelled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. Through his travels, he has connected with local musicians and practices. These varied cultures have significantly influenced his music. In 2021 he became a student of Dhrupad, the oldest form of Indian Classical music. Elliot uses music as a way to connect with himself and others, a tool to introspect, relax and uplift. He hopes that his music will evoke similar qualities in his listeners.
