*A MENTAL HEALTH SONG*

“Pure O” is all about living & coping with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

I've never personally heard a song about living with this condition and I wanted to articulate how you can be made to feel everyday.

Quite often I've found OCD depicted as wanting everything clean & orderly however this is just one symptom. The true extent of emotion, limitation & frustration is the whole underside of the iceberg that isn’t referenced as much.

I wanted to share my personal experiences so that people suffering from OCD can feel heard, understood & as though they aren’t alone in this world (which the whole chorus is centered around this feeling).

You aren’t alone, I got you ;)
