thanks! it was a heavily modulated version of the same chord progression it was playing over, but arpeggiated

Across This Land (Original)

Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra was one of my favorite songs from the late 1970's, and arguably one of the happiest songs ever written! This project is a lead vocal cover over an enhanced and remixed recording of the original instrumental and backup vocal tracks. I played along with and layered over the instrumental tracks with similar sounding instruments, to give it more presence and punch! Didn't reinvent the wheel here, just polished up the rims a bit! Enjoy!

The best creative impulses always come unexpected. Those times when you say "I think I'll start a project today." Inspiration is around every corner. I'm an electronic artist aspiring not for fame necessarily, but for making music that I love. And music you can move to. Influenced by my good friend and mentor, I started this music making journey in 2020. I've learned a lot so far and my goal is to make each track better than the last.
