Belgian-born and class of ’71, Paul Lootvoet’s musical journey began early, shaped by a family record collection spinning AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, and David Bowie on the living room hi-fi. This deep-rooted passion evolved into a lifelong commitment to music, leading him from classic rock to the hypnotic pulse of electronic music.

Relocating to Puglia, Paul immersed himself in the DJ circuit, refining his craft and developing a deep appreciation for the tactile nature of vinyl. His sets effortlessly blend deep house, tech house, and minimal, weaving rich textures, rolling grooves, and an undeniable sense of flow. With a preference for extended, immersive journeys, he brings a distinct warmth and depth to the dancefloor—balancing technical precision with instinctive selection.

In 2024, Paul took his passion a step further by launching his own vinyl label, Organic Circus, distributed by Yoyaku. The label debuted with his first EP, Colette Night Story, featuring a remix by renowned German producer Christian Burkhardt. Known for his forward-thinking approach to minimal and tech house, Burkhardt has been a staple in the underground scene, with releases on Cocoon, Oslo, and raum…musik. His remix on the EP adds a signature groove-driven touch, reinforcing the label’s commitment to high-quality, analog-driven sounds.

Now an established artist in the underground scene, Paul continues to push his sound forward with carefully curated selections and a purist approach to DJing. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his focus remains on creating timeless, analog-driven experiences that resonate beyond the night.
