Folding Space

Lucid dreams is about reflection, nostalgia and relocation. 
It’s like looking through an old photo album, a journey down memory lane and good times shared with friends and family. 
But it was also about my journey forward to find my place in the world.

After the guitar hook came around by accident while pressing record and listening back on my brothers HiFi system the music was born!
I was very inspired in the winter of 1996 crossing the great North American plains and highway 80 with my Dad in the winter of 1996.
Looking for a place I could call home but very often I would lucid dream about home. I guess I missed the place as there truly is no place like home.

a friend of mine called while I was writing over this beat & I accidentally recorded part of our conversation ("you can't take me anywhere"). Lately, I've been producing demos heavy on the autotune & lots of angry moody distorted bass and overdriven kicks... kind of taking the vaste avant-pop energy and going postal with it. if you find this: hope you like—& tell me how to get rid of the distortion when the tempo switches. 🩶🪳
