Curious about the effects of media consumption on our outward behavior, Star took it upon herself to gain a deeper understanding of how her work — writing, media, and performance, could potentially affect others and would affect her audience. With almost a decade of film and non-linear video editing, Star turned back to her love of sound, and studied all aspects of sound — from the String Theory level to capturing and augmenting sound waves to elicit specific effects, to studying jazz and orchestral drum set and percussions.
