Formed in 2012 through bonds of friendship both old and new, Vancouver based Indie Folk band, Rebel On A Mountain, brings together a combination of sounds from across Canada and Denmark to create a musical landscape of feelings. Songwriter Kristian Badstue Wagner left his home of Denmark to come to Canada in pursuit of education and life experience. Along his journey, music has been his constant companion, serving to translate his emotional and situational experiences into auditory adventures. Upon a chance encounter at a UBC cafe, Kristian struck up a musical bond with multi-instrumentalist Christopher Rodgers. They quickly established a strong friendship, realizing that their united sound was exactly what they had each been searching for.
