mister anderson is most easily described as indie-electro. or if james Blake and frank sinatra had a musical lovechild raised by maroon 5, mgmt, and justice in a timeless artist commune in the middle of the desert.
i'm a buffalo-born, san deigo-raised 20-something now based in los angeles, california. i moved with my mother and brother to l.a. as a starry-eyed teenager looking to make it big in the world of hollywood acting, but like most people with the same hopes, i quickly hit reality. reality can be soft pillow but it can also be a brick wall, and after many years of auditions, acting lessons, and maybes, i found that it was usually the latter. while i got minor success in a few indie movies and small roles on t.v. shows, i never really felt a connection to acting.
 i thought up of the idea of mister anderson after a former band was crumbling right in front of me. mister  anderson, at it’s core, is a release for who i am, for what is bottled up inside. sometimes it will be dark,  sometimes it will be light, but it will most likely be a shade of grey.

 there are hidden truths in the songs, all you need to do is sing along.
