It is (NEWCENTURYPOPGLAM) singer songwriter ,E. Spence an Indiana resident and front man and creator of the alternative Americana gloomrock band Letters to Mercy. From an early age I have been creating learning and looking for that one opportunity to make my holy mark on the music world. "Creating music gives me a genuine feeling of uforia as it should for everyone who feels any real human emotions. Its a human thing". Letters to Mercy are a genre blended sound of rock, glam, alternative, pop, indie and a slip in of hip hop, giving Letters to Mercy a unique sound that has something for everyone.  Influenced by David Bowie, The Cure, Prince and B.R.M.C. you could say this band has pure potential. Recently, Letters  to Mercy has added new members, David  Wish on keys and Scott Carr on drums and Allen Ball on bass Recently as of 2024 an unreleased track from 1989 under a different band title, Black Love, was in a documentary film, This Town Rocked. With it's strange yet familiar riffs it is brought together by the unique stories of the world and frozen moments through the eyes of a manic depressive, E. Spence gives it all lyrically and tonally. With easy to follow riffs and catchy hooks your'e repeating until the end. So if your a fan or a follower Letters to Mercy has found a way to not follow the trends and keep true to it's sound while gaining momentum in the music underground scenes.
