Having featured on Eskimo Recordings' last two compilations Russian producer Antenna now steps up for his first full release for the label with the 5 track 'From Kazan With Love' EP. 

Hailing from the Tatarstan Republic where temperatures frequently drop below -15°C, Antenna shares more than just an appreciation of good thermal underwear with his Nordic contemporaries and his music, all glacial cosmic vibes, warm arpeggios and melodies that wear their heart on their sleeve, stands up alongside the best Nordic disco around.

Opening with his two contributions to Eskimo's colour series of compilations, the gentle and optimistic caress 'Sparks' and the breezy slo-mo Balearic gem 'Love 66', Antenna really reaches for the skies with the EP's third track 'Astra', the kind of euphoric Trance-Disco that's sure to cause more than a few outbreaks of emotion on the dance floor.

If 'Astra' sounds like a one-way ticket to the cosmos then it's just as well Antenna follows that back with 'Take Me Home'. Dialling down the BPMs and up the groove, Antenna finds the unlikely sweet spot somewhere between P-Funk and Prog Rock to produce some out of this world, languid space-funk.

Closing the EP, 'Waiting' reveals another side to this enigmatic producer, ditching the disco beats for something more experimental whilst incorporating stately strings and elegiac piano into the proceedings to create an unexpected, if wholly welcome, coda to the release.

Antenna & Tasma - Waiting

Deniz Kabu & Wolfson both have very different musical beginnings, with Kabu coming through the heavy metal world and Wolfson becoming a turntablist at the age of 13 blending hip-hop and breakbeats. Despite the pairs musical backgrounds being worlds apart they fuse their influences together for the third time. 'Let it Go' kicks things off with rolling, tribal percussion, smooth vocals, and progressive melodies harmoniously merged together to create a euphoric affair. Moritz Guhling & Monotunes provide a compelling remix through uplifting synth waves, angelic pads and resonating bassline layered with the warm vocal line from the original.

Y desde aquí sentado, en observación interna y contemplación del resultado de nuestras acciones. 
La madre tierra nos ha mostrado su poder e independencia a nuestra sobre vivencia.
La q en algún momento fue nuestro hogar, hoy amenaza nuestra existencia y nos revela que cada acción que tomemos impactara nuestro futuro como especie.

Las raíces de su verde crecer han arrancado los cimientos de nuestras ya obsoletas tradiciones, estas Raices se amarran y crecen aferradas a las paredes de nuestras abandonadas construcciones …
Rebosando de vida vegetal hasta el último rincón de nuestras ciudades .
Verde rebosante de vida y fuerza renace, sin importar lo q pase, ella solo seguirá su rumbo, seguirá floreciendo. 

Los ahora vacíos establos , los animales ahora libres y salvajes regresan a su estado natural y aquel humano q aún se aferra a los procesos obsoletos de producción errante aún pensando como continuar ese camino perdido…..

Y desde  lo  lejos observado por una tribu q adaptándose al hoy y que traicionando sus tradiciones se aferra a la vida y al chispa divina de la existencia que florece desde la compasión ….verde reciliente

When Eric starts, you know it’s him. 
There is no transition. Just expansion and detonations.
You're gone.
Beyond, further or back home.

No more question. It's just music.
Every beat is the answer.
The style says it all.
He unveils his intimacy, expressing vulnerability. 
He plays just like he would write a love letter but at the same time, he goes big and remains cinematic.
You will find whispers and secrets but you won't forget the the roar of the lion who just got trapped in a cage. Unforgiven low-ends, are erupting from the magma of the earth.

He performs unexpected and sharp but the message you get is crystal clear. Music rhymes with Eric.
His quality control is unreal.
He reveals, instead of playing. 
The good news?  It all sound like one since track but it's a trap. You are being played, and it grabs you. 


Trained as a guitarist, Eric first honed his musical skills playing in caravans with Gypsies.

At the age of fifteen, he was already roaming at Folies Pigalle on Wednesdays, Rex Club on Thursdays, Jazz bars and trailers on weekends, under the caring protection of Marcel Campion and the descendants of Django Reinhardt. 

From his experiences with Gypsies, he earned a sense of freedom and a keen ear for improvisation across all genres of music.
While Eric's DJ sets and productions primarily feature electronic music, he consistently infuse them with strings, brass, or eclectic sounds that strengthen his surprising universe. 

It all makes sense and it becomes his signature: « A Dialogue between the Beat and the Vibe »

For Eric, music is not only a passion but a reason to be.

It's the place where the essential finds its expression, where space and time vibrate in harmony, where souls and bodies sing and dance their inexpressible truth.

Throughout his life, he has been seeking for the unexpected, the improbable and thirsting for new sounds and emotions. 
From meditation to celebration, from the most refined classical music to raw techno, from the intimacy of a Gypsy jazz bar to the fury of massive electro clubs around the world, Eric seeks and finds. 

That’s why today, it is so natural to find him behind his turntables with his guitar, sharing his boundless love for what we vaguely refer to as music, vibration, celebration or simply: Life.

When he plays, everything shifts.
Everything else is gone. 
Coolness, pleasing games, seduction or hype. There is no visual fabrication. Music takes the lead.
It's about guts, heart and ears. With style but only sound matters.

He has to take risks. It's uplifting and it make you feel safe, at the right place, at the right moment.

On my part, I would add that Eric is pure, intense, positive and unforgiven creativity, madness, elegance in motion, unpredictability and the spark we all need:
Like a guitar by a campfire, a requiem in times of sorrow, a Jazz tune under the pouring rain, a 360° drift on the rond-point des Champs-Élysées at 5am or a love story during bedtime.
No intro needed. The vibe announces him and the room reacts before your mind. 

Obsessed by sounds, each of his notes is carefully thought out, cherished, loved, and embodied.  

He is abundance and his attention to details is non-negotiable.
Everything is there, but only if it's shared.
The love of sharing is one of Eric's most beautiful values...
