Eric V Stein
BIOGRAPHY
Eric V. Stein hails from a long line of classically trained musicians and composers from Ukraine and more recently, Kansas.

Having explored and performed many styles of music, Eric developed his own flair for music drawing from elements of jazz, fusion, rock, blues, soul, R&B, classical, the rhythms of unbalanced and balanced tires and the like. To quote Duke Ellington, "There are two kinds of music, the good kind and the other kind. I like both." Eric's take on this is "If the music, good or the other kind moves you, it's doing what it's supposed to do."

Eric welcomes mistakes in art and in life. He believes that by making a "mistake" in music improvisation and composition, for example, it introduces one to a world of ideas that one would not have been exposed to had the "mistake" not been made. He asserts "Just keep an open mind. The ideas are out there for every one to use. Just channel them, let them happen, and stay out of the way." 

So there are no mistakes. Only doors to new rooms.

Eric has been involved in the music and media industry for many years. His experience ranges from international tours with major recording artists to composing and producing music for major Los Angeles advertising agencies. Some of his current projects include www.EricSteinMedia.com, a website dedicated to providing music, voice over and video for websites and internet applications, as well as more traditional mediums such as television and radio. 

Eric is also a creative consultant for www.SteinBrothersMusic.com, a company that assists artists in writing, arranging, recording, producing and realizing their musical visions. www.SteinBrothersMusic.com also operates an internet based virtual music school at www.OnlineMusicInstitute.com as well as other web sites dedicated to advance artistic careers.

Eric also writes & collaborates with Mahvash Azhir, a gifted actress / singer, writer and fellow artist. Their discovery of an alluring musical style speaks a universal language encouraging a  myriad of emotions and captivating hearts from numerous cultures and backgrounds. Everyone has rituals that are constantly performed. As per Wikipedia, “in psychology, the term ritual is sometimes used in a technical sense for a repetitive behavior systematically used by a person to neutralize or prevent anxiety.” In these times, who can't appreciate non substance abusive techniques to neutralize or prevent anxiety? 

Rituals can include the performance of special music, songs or dances, and since all rituals begin in the mind, the title for the album, RITUAL MIND DANCE, appears to be relevant. 

RITUAL MIND DANCE can be a process of placing events from an otherwise upside down world a into a perspective that turn that world somewhat right side up.

Atmasfera is a multi-instrumental 
band with 3 vocalists and we try

festivals as we can and are eager 
to try new ones.
Our band name
consists of - “atma” –
“personality” in
translation, and “sfera” –
something which surrounds a
personality. This title says
about something which
surrounds a personality -
his internal world, feeling
and experiences. Each concert
is really an event for
musicians where they express
themselves completely to
create “atmosphere" of
understanding with
listeners, apart from it,
they are always demanding to
the quality of the sound and
arrangement of their songs.
