"Cut Man Stage" from the 1987 NES game "Mega Man", composed by Manami Matsumae.

This is not from emulation. This was recorded from a genuine front-loading NES console. The NES was modded so its audio would bypass the amp/mixdown stage. This dual-channel audio directly from the 2A03 chip was amplified by a FiiO E6 and captured by a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro at 24-bit/96khz through Audacity, then mixed down to mono and losslessly encoded using FLAC. In other words, it's essentially the authentic NES hardware sound but without the buzzing noise. All credit for this recording goes to "The Iron Goat".

Update (10/6/2019): Couldn't work on this in a long while because of some issues with my music production software. Since a short time, everything works fine for me again. So, it shouldn't take too much time anymore to finish this orchestration!
