I not entirely happy with how this came out. I like the song, but the sound quality is not great. I tried cleaning the vocals up as much as I could, and I even ended up cutting a bunch out completely, but they still sound kind of grainy. Oh well.

Formed in 2011 by members of several Russian indie rock bands, Hospital was the ambitious vision of talented lead vocalist Egor Berdnikov and realised by additional band members, Andrey Tsvetkov, lead guitar and backing vocals, Alexey Shorin, bass guitar and Vladimir Balovnev on drums.

Now with two successful albums under their belt, having supported the Moscow legs of huge international tours, including Lana Del Ray, The Neighbourhood and The Kooks, Hospital are ready to release their third album.

Since conception, the band has developed a heightened depth of sound, adding a hefty measure of electronica to their infectious indie tracks. Their sound is littered with iconic 80’s influence, from Bands such as New Order, Tears for Fears and INXS. The Cure has also been a continuous inspiration throughout the quartet’s discography.

Hospital's story to date, is testament to the bands huge popularity in their home country, but we should expect the appeal of this energetic fourpiece to be far wider reaching in 2018.

Earned my B.A. degree in Music from Western University (clarinet, 2005)
And certificate in Office Administration from Fanshawe College (2016).
At Fanshawe I also did one semester of Web Development in 2008 and one semester of Music Industry Arts in 2014.
After I earned my Music B.A., I continued at Western for a few years of part-time Psychology courses, but dropped out a few courses shy of earning a psychology degree, due to mental health issues leading to a kundalini awakening.

I am an advocate of musicians returning to 432 Hz, because it is an energetically healing sound frequency that if one is sensitive enough, can be felt within, especially through the heart chakra. I believe that the "cerebral" but discordant 440 Hz standard frequency of music is a cause of anxiety, overthinking, nervous system damage and chakra imbalances.

I have navigated through early childhood trauma, physical/sexual/verbal abuse, bullying, mild drug addiction, mental health challenges, near death experiences, spiritual awakening and during the pandemic, have survived homelessness, hunger, suicide attempts and discrimination.
