The passing of reggae’s critically acclaimed, “Extra Classic” singer, Gregory Isaacs, certainly calls for a special update from Shockout.com. This mix called Vintage Cool Ruler comes from the morning I learned of Gregory's passing. It highlights the early years of Gregory when hit singles were recorded with Jamaica’s award wining studio band, Soul Syndicate. You’ll also get a nice dose of hit selections from the late 70’s and early 80’s recorded with studio musicians Sly & Robbie and Roots Radics.
