Los Angeles based composer and saxophonist Randy Gist is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a composer he has had the privilege of writing the music for the theatrical campaigns of Despicable me 2, Olympus has Fallen, Elysium, and Evil Dead. Randy has also arranged for the Costa Rican National Orchestra.

 As a saxophonist Randy has toured with American Idol winner Phillip Phillips, appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" , has been featured numerous times on the Fox hit TV show Glee, and performed on the soundtrack to Pixar's Epic.

Randy has a bachelor’s degree in music from Western Michigan University and a master’s in music composition at the University of Miami.

Hello there.

I'm a Portuguese guy that loves music and enjoys to pick up the guitar and play some tunes for relaxing. These are demos that I've recorded at my house, without any kind of editing. Maybe some day I'll get the chance to record my own work at a professional studio but I'm not obsessed about that, i never was. I already do what i love, writing and playing for the ones i care.
