Guitarist and songwriter Stephen Speelman (formerly of progressive rock outfit Unified Past and cover band Chief Big Way) is stepping into the spotlight with his debut solo album, Sir Stephen of Dudley, available December 5th 2025 via Melodic Revolution Records.

Known for his intricate guitar work and progressive sensibilities, Sir Stephen dials up the intensity — and strips down the complexity — with a collection of 10 hard-hitting, riff-heavy tracks made to be played loud. While echoes of his prog roots emerge in the occasional time shift or groove twist, this record is all about raw energy, fun, and full-throttle guitar power.

“I wanted to showcase a different side of my playing — something more immediate, less cerebral, and just plain fun,” says Sir Stephen. “This album is about big riffs, loud guitars, and having a blast doing it.”

TV Movie is ultimately a garage rock band at heart with a heavy dose of infused electronica and art-rock.   Originally from Austin, TX, the trio is now currently active in the Heartlands of Ohio.  With influences such as self-torturing Ian Curtis, ecstasy popping Jarvis Cocker, heroin injecting Lou Reed, 70's Las Vegas rhinestone jump-suit big Elvis, El Paso smuggling Johnny Cash, they seamlessly bring the perfect post-punk blend of lyrical angst, catchy melodies, and danceable rhythms.  Their growth and matureness in the music industry is demonstrated on their sophomore album, Reel1, released on Sniff ‘N’ Skratch Records in June 2015.  The non-stop concept album tells the story of one man's journey that occurs in one night. Starting off with a break-up, his journey takes him from a stagnantly mundane cycle, into learning to view life in a new light, whether it is real or fantasy.    TV Movie has played anywhere from major time slots at regional music & art festivals such as Worst Kept Secret Fest to smaller showcases at the South By Southwest Music Festival.  Whether a large or small stage, TV Movie rocks out and gets the crowd dancing all in one show.

Steve Scott is an Americana singer, songwriter, record producer and actor; a gifted musician and performer.

My name is Pierre Rausch, owner of Summernightbrand Record Sales Office. I am from Luxembourg and 36 years old.

I started early with music, really got into it at High School and University. I visited some courses of Guitar & Vocals, but essentially, I taught me a lot of things on my own. This is how I made my first steps into the music business : learning to play chords and arpeggio.

Soon, I began writing my own songs. Grown into interest by the upcoming Casting Shows in 2002, I always wanted to compete in one of those. So I tried to cover bands like Radiohead or Ben Harper, but although Muse or Placebo. In my songwriting I tried to sound in a classic way, so that can be fit with strings ; my songs are adapted to acoustic guitar.

By 2006, I was ready to get started. Along some part-time jobs, I made it with street music, essentially in Luxembourg, but although in Germany or Netherlands. In the street I created some solo parts that I integrated into the existing songs, but although wrote some new songs.



I recorded my first albums with MP3-Players and let them register with SACEM Luxembourg, but had although Tunecore as partners on side. The artwork I did all by myself ; except for my last album, Goldcurl. For Goldcurl, the artcover got done by a luxembourgish artist called Mady Gorges. Along these target missions, I managed to compete at Castings in Germany, but although in Luxembourg. For shows like DSDS, Tvtotal and a Luxembourg format « Wannst de eppes kannst », I got spotted on TV for several times, unfortunately messing up doing my stuff. I was too nervous because of some stage-fright, in particular. This got treated with the help of the German Psychologist Tom Bohne, who wrote some books about this subject.

After these casting apparitions, I opened my own commerce, Summernightbrand Record Sales Office, to negotiate music licensing with SACEM Luxembourg, Tunecore nad Schubert Music Publishing. With SRSO, I established internet sites, like my own homepage, social network accounts, contact with A&R or label sites, or sites that simply offer opportunites to send your music by submission. This is not the only work that got done with SRSO, as new albums got recorded, my tabs translated in several languages and some lyrics got passed to poem sites on the internet. Participations on Open Mics and concerts in little bars/restaurants have followed, but also busking in Luxembourg. With Mark Baxter, who operates for VoiceLesson.com, I have an accurate voice teacher, who thaught me how to warm up before singing.

Recently I published my biography. It's called Goldcurl, like one of my favorite songs (German, 180 pages, ISBN 9783741860065). Most recently I signed with Bentley Records and released an album called International Soccer. I rehearshed with a band called World inclusion, which is my second project. I am member of 3 choirs (church, modern repertoire and indian/native repertoire).


Considering artists helping artists :
I think that we grow into an established business, in which the prior generation set standards for how to handle situations. The stakes are pretty high, considering artists working together. The internet sets the right standards for this, with like buttons on Facebook, or following possiblilities on Myspace Twitter etc. … Working together is important for all of us, you can learn so many chords from other artists, it's not just covering a friend, it's about improving your own skills !

For me, composing electronic music is like painting with sound, inventing unique colors, and making a picture that projects fleeting thoughts and ephemeral feelings onto a limitless canvas of tunes. Electronic music gives me the freedom to create any sound I can imagine and incorporate them into unique compositions that aren't bound to traditional forms.

THE PLASTIC PALS – twin guitar slinger psychedelic garage powerpop combo from Stockholm, Sweden – released their second album TURN THE TIDE - February 2013. Recorded at Studio The White Lodge in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Produced by Chris Cacavas (Green on Red/Giant Sand/Calexico) with Rainer Lolk as engineer. 

The Plastic Pals released their debut album GOOD KARMA CAFÉ in 2008. A collection of magic melodies with a dark edge. An americana-tinged affair, yet staying true to the twin guitar-paisley-garage-powerpop-New York rock-ideals as presented on the EP THE BAND THATS FUN TO BE WITH (2006).

The sound of The Plastic Pals continues to attract an increasing number of fans worldwide. A rootsy classic guitar-laden rock sound that takes you on a time capsule, draggin The Ghost of Tom Joad all the way into the present. The Plastic Pals have been compared to bands and artists like Echo&The Bunnymen, Television, The Dream Syndicate, The Velvet Underground, Green on Red, The Godfathers, Blue Oyster Cult, Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Costello. Perhaps too rootsy to be called garage, too poppy to be called rootsy, too garage rocking to be called americana or alt-country.

The album GOOD KARMA CAFÉ – with guest appearances by former Green on Red keyboard maestro Chris Cacavas – has received really good reviews, in Sweden as well as in the UK, The Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. Tunes from the album have received airplay and/or is receiving airplay in the USA (WFMU and WFNX), the UK (BBC6 and the House for Mercy show at Total Radio), Greece, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Holland, Belgium and France – with A-rotaion for 4 months on a radio station in Lyon.

The Plastic Pals have been support band to The Dream Syndicate (US), Chuck Prophet (US, The New Christs (Australia)- with members from Radio Birdman and Barracudas, Steve Wynn & The Miracle 3 (US), Chris Cacavas (US), The Nomads (Sweden).

In November 2008 The Plastic Pals were invited to London by Gurbir “Another Cowboy” Dhillon (who released albums with The Dream Syndicate and Band of Outsiders in the 1980:s) and Nick West (from the magazine Bucketfull of Brains) for a celebration of The Paisley Underground at the Windmill, Brixton. Besides playing a regular Plastic Pals-set the band backed ex-Long Ryder Sid Griffin on a set of tunes by The Long Ryders, and finished off the night with a set of songs by The Only Ones, The Dream Syndicate, Green on Red, The Velvet Undergound and Danny and Dusty. The same weekend The Plastic Pals played two more London dates at The Hope & Anchor and 12 Bar Club.

In November 2013 The Plastic Pals went on a mini-tour to New York/New Jersey to play with bands and artists like Band of Outsiders, The Cynz and Phil Gammage.
