Albert Dayan has a BA in acting from Cal Arts. He lives in Los Angeles and writes with the award winning Burglars of Hamm, a theatre company that has been called “Los Angeles’ goofiest social satirists” (LA Times) and “Maybe the closest thing LA has to the Pythons.” (Backstage West). He's a husband, dad, writer, actor, director, visual artist, teacher, and now, for the first time... a radio producer.

After high school, Eric Drachman did an internship with a local radio station, getting up early and working for the morning shock jock. He got a degree in psychology, then acting, then started publishing children's books and audiobooks under his own imprint, Kidwick Books. He co-produced his first radio piece. Then last Fall, Eric went to Cape Cod for the Transom Story Workshop and is now chomping at the bit to make more radio.

    My father was an incredible story teller, this weekend is the one year anniversary of his death and I wanted to spend this time telling a story to commemorate his life now that he is "Out of Range." (He is featured in a snipet of archival tape from when I was 9. 
 This story looks at the concept of the effects of being "Out of Range."
Does it causes a sense of regret and failure? or is it comforting,
and can it make one feel more human?   (12 hour in additional paragraph was split into two, reconstructed and posed as questions.)
    Special thanks to composer Bobby Tahouri. And another grateful thank you to Fred Sugerman, Elizabeth Coca and Alan for giving their time and thoughtful answers while being interviewed.

    Fred Sugerman founded Medicine dance which he performs and teaches.

    Alan is a professional musician and teacher.

    84 year old Elizabeth Coca, was "Sister Gerard" for 18 years. When she left the Convent and became "Sister Spontaneity." She got married and had a child. She has worked as a teacher and taught over 50,000 students over 64 years. Now as a prolific performance artist, she gives one woman shows where  all of her shows start "Out of Range" with the word "Beyond."
