Aptly described as equal parts techno pixie to psytrance siren, spawned from her unapologetically deep, psychedelic and sensual sound that meanders the wider realms of techno and trance, weaved together in a style that favours mesmeric blends with technical precision.

As an artist, venue manager and promoter, Melati’s relationship with music is intrinsic to every aspect of their life. From a Masters of Architecture that explores the spatial, social and political position of nightclubs in a city to a tangible body of on-the-ground work in venues, Melati has lived and breathed the spaces in which we find sanctuary throughout all of their adult career.

Maeksll is a techno producer and DJ based in Basel, Switzerland. Exposed to a broad range of music from an early age, his productions reflect an openness to different styles while remaining deeply rooted in techno. Influenced by the hypnotic sound of early 2010s techno and the warmth of house-leaning chords, Maeksll’s tracks aim to create an atmosphere that is both rhythmic and emotive.

His approach to production is guided by a focus on movement, subtle melancholy, and a sense of nostalgia — crafting music that resonates beyond the dancefloor. Carefully balancing repetition with evolving elements, he builds immersive experiences that invite both physical and emotional connection.

While production remains at the core of his work, his DJ sets mirror the same philosophy: selecting and layering tracks with an emphasis on groove, mood, and storytelling rather than trends. Maeksll continues to develop his sound thoughtfully, always prioritizing sincerity and depth over spectacle.
