This is a pretty crazy dance track that borrows ideas from several genres, I think.  It's also the first track I ever completed using the REAPER digital audio workstation (using soft synths from Native Instruments' Komplete and Rob Papen's Predator-PL).  It may sound like I used prefabricated loops, but that's not the case; everything is original.  Made on a Mac mini.  Enjoy!

Chasm's Edge

Here's a new track I just finished based on an idea I came up with a long, LONG time ago, we're talking in the '90s if I can remember correctly.  It kind of defies categorization; it starts out as an easy-listening, slow ambient piano piece, but then becomes upbeat toward the end.

Square One

This is my instrumental cover version of Harry's Game, written by Pol Brennan and performed by Irish group Clannad.

The first time I ever heard this song was when I watched the live U2 concert Under a Blood Red Sky; it was being played during the introduction.  It has been used in a few other places, I believe.

This recording was created with Acoustica Mixcraft running under Windows 8.1 Pro x64.

Theme from Harry's Game

Greetings SoundCloud community.  Please enjoy my new recording, an instrumental (most of it) cover version of The Who's Baba O'Riley.  Just one thing to keep in mind: If you're familiar with the original song, you know how complex that ending is with the violin and how it franticly comes to a close with that faster and faster crescendo.  Because of that, I didn't go so far as to try to imitate that ending of the song 100% exactly; rather, I do play some of the violin melody and then sort of fade out the song in my own way.  Hope you all don't mind.  Other than that, I think you'll agree that for the most part I really captured the essence of the original track.  Please enjoy.
