Full track n°10 from the Scots Wha Hae album (2022), The Lord (You Gotta Move) is kind of a cover of the blues song from Mississippi Fred McDowell’s repertoire, particularly highlighted on the Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers album; I've adapted and arranged this mystical tune with a special bagpipe using a B flat chanter.
Last track of my Scottish traditional album, it’s kind of a bonus track, like an opening to my other sources of inspiration : traditional bagpipe and traditional blues go well together!

Dernière piste de l'album Scots Wha Hae (2022), The Lord (You Gotta Move) est une reprise du blues du répertoire de Mississippi Fred McDowell, figurant également sur l'album "Sticky Fingers" des Rolling Stones; j'ai adapté et arrangé cet air avec une cornemuse spéciale dotée d'un accordage moderne (diapason 440 Hz).
Avec son air de "bonus track" sur un album quasi-entièrement dédié au répertoire traditionnel de cornemuse écossaise, c'est aussi un clin d'oeil à mes autres sources d'inspiration et il est vrai que cornemuse et blues vont très bien ensemble!

Welcome on my Soundcloud page! So, I play bagpipes, bombards, Irish whistles, and sing in English, French and Breton. All tunes are performed, recorded, arranged and mixed in my personal home studio: working hard in it for the present time with several singles to come and at least one album in 2024.
