All sounds come from a tiny singing bowl except the kick which is a foot on the floor and a pair of concrete materials used as unusual percussions. Recorded in Funkhaus Studios in Berlin. Audio processing in Ableton Live.

KEBU was introduced to the world in 2021 with the indie-folk EP Emotional Tone, where Maria shared songs written during the solitude of the COVID era — just her, her father's guitar, and a worn-out Shure microphone. Passionate about collaboration, Maria recorded her debut EP with a friend and mixed it with the help of two others. Since then, collaborations have remained central to KEBU`s creative journey, bringing more and more talented people into it`s musical orbit.

Blending elements of electronic, acoustic, pop, ethnic, trip-hop, and beyond, KEBU's sound playfully defies categorization — Maria jokingly calls it unpredictable indie.
