Filmscape

This is a song I wrote one afternoon while it started raining. I was working on a different project at the time and was getting nowhere and couldn't seem to find inspiration anywhere. Well, it began to rain so I decided to open up my window and stick my microphone up to it and hit record. As it was recording I started playing piano and whatever came to me at the time. After I got a little "riff" in I picked up my electric guitar and tried to figure something that would go with what I had. It would be nice to go back and give this a little more structure but being on a complete whim, I think I'll just let it be. Even if it is a minute twenty seconds. Wouldn't be an Eric Opheim song if it was any longer now would it?

It's been a few months since I have released anything on here and I wanted to have a little update. This is 1 of 4 songs I am currently writing and working on right now. There WILL be vocals in these 4 songs..going to be different!

This is a new song I started to write earlier this week. I wanted to write an M83 type song with a stomp beat. This is only a sample as well as a skeleton for what it will be! Hope you enjoy!
