A Song for the Harp

Sorry about the bass guitar, there was just no other way to make a sound like that without altering the sound of an instrument in an unrealistic way. I tried timpani and bass marimba, and the sounds just weren't right, and they wouldn't go low enough. I used an ocean drum and wind chimes to give that windy, ambient sound. I subbed the electric piano sound with vibes and marimba playing in unison. All the "drum" sounds of this DnB are drumline battery, in addition to tambourine and triangle

Erik Satié was one of the most accomplished French Impressionistic pianists and composers that ever existed. His timeless music simply challenges classification. His premiere Gymnopédie (previously the 3rd in the series) is among his most famous. The melody is so strangely familiar, like it was written in from a dream. Vibraphone definitely helps bring out the intense, yet unintentional emotion of Erik's composition. Written for 4-mallets. Available for 3-octave vibraphone.

This mallet percussion ensemble is divided into three movements representing the three meals for the day; breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is warm and comforting, lunch is fun, and dinner is elegant and expressive. See which meal suites your fancy!

It's also worth noting that this is a 9-year updated and remastered version! I hope you enjoy it.

Instrumentation (6 Players): 
2 standard xylophones, one standard marimba, one 5-octave marimba, and 2 standard vibraphones. Available to be transposed!
