MB Elektronics unleashed a massive box set of seven tracks and with this release MB celebrates ADE festival. Marco Bailey the chief of this exquisite line up, leading with his majestic way while Simone Tavazzi, Rafa Barrios, Dany Rodriguez, Drumcomplex, Roel Salemink, Davy Dee and Kiko are making something unique with this complilation. It&#8217;s a pick of 7 genuinely sought of techno anthems. Gritty basslines, twisted effects and rolling drums this compilation is all about. Overall this is a solid release by MB Elektronics featuring some great productions that are cutting the edge.

Marco Bailey & Redhead - Chrome Bullet (Original Mix) [MB Elektronics]

Techno legend Marco Bailey debuts on Amazing Records with an incendiary track and an uncompromising remix along with fellow Belgian superstar Redhead. The long-time veteran shows here his straightforward talent and his unique production skills: his well-documented release list goes back to the mid-nineties, spanning almost two decades of underground music, and has brought him to play at some of the most acclaimed festivals and parties worldwide such as Tomorrowland, Time Warp, Awakenings and I Love Techno. His guest appearances at Ibiza&#8217;s Space have become a staple in the white island&#8217;s scene, and his dj performances are in steady demand. Label owners MiniCoolBoyz team up with Italian sensations NHB for their own take on Bailey&#8217;s tune, and the VA also features a special contribution by Milan&#8217;s badass Giorgio Rusconi. &#8220;Stir It Up&#8221; opens with a vibrating percussive groove and a crescendo of filtered vocals that explode into a bass driven relentless swinging rhythm, while the remix is a darker rework with a mammoth chugging kick drum and hypnotic twitching synth stabs which give out a sinister and creepy vibe. &#8220;Pulsar&#8221;&#8216;s atmospheric techno and rollickin bounce lead through a spaced out journey, whereas Bailey and Redhead&#8217;s remix is upbeat and filled with galloping sounds and big analog pulses. Pure old school warehouse feeling.

Marco Bailey strikes back on MB Elektronics with an absolutely massive release. &#8216;The Black Widow&#8217; is a pure class from start to finish. Every detail is lovingly crafted from techno kicks to a devastating bassline that enter exactly the right moment. This production it feels like you could dance to it forever. Next on is an edit mix. This production is a bouncy techno number, driven by a chicaning bassline and some irresistible effects. Brutal and brilliant, the whole release is simply an essential addition to your box. This is nonetheless and incredibly strong release from Marco Bailey to his very own imprint MB Elektronics.

Selected Records is proud to present his brand new release from a new gold member: Eric Sneo. The remix work comes from the label bosses: Gabriel D&#8217;Or &amp; Bordoy.

He is a highly requested international player and also a great producer since 2003, when he released the worldwide known Club Hit &#8220;Ciao Bella&#8221;.

&#8220;Go&#8221; is the opening track and is a straightly Techno piece, effectiveness, power and forcefulness will make this track a good element for many sets. Gabriel D&#8217;Or &amp; Bordoy make a complete remake of the track, leading to his own hallmark, bringing awesome new synths and an unexpected force that will be delicious for some of the best Techno cooks out there.

&#8220;Organic&#8221; is one of those melodic Techno tracks that Eric knows how to do so well, epic synths in a great composition with phenomenal arrangements.

In Patent Skillz 053 we present another Spanish talent -Adrian Oblanca. He was born in Zamora (Spain). He began his techno musical career at his hometown in 2006. He gradually started to find his own niche in nightlife by djing at local clubs such as Sala Pimentel, Mp3 House Club, Snipe, The Special Tsunami Club and Sala Alejandría.
He’s also played in numerous clubs throughout Spain such as Sala Escada (Valladolid), Sala Paladium (Almería), Studio54 (Oviedo), Sala Factory (Valladolid), Zeta Sound (Zamora), Bo.karoo (León), Grafity (León), La Vaca (Ponferrada), Sala Tarot (Segovia), etc…
Adrian Oblanca has released more than 100 tracks in various internationally known record labels and he is emerging as a prominent and promising young DJ and producer.

July will see Ejeca kickstart his new label Exploris with a three-track EP.

Nominated Breakthrough Producer at Best of British 2013 and one of the most bookable names in the UK and beyond after big tunes on Needwant, 2020 Vision and Aus, the Belfast-based DJ has decided go his own way with a new label, but it's not exactly what you might expect.

'Rick Flair', 'Skitter' and 'Prototype' show Ejeca, known to his ma as Garry, venturing into pure techno territory.

It&#8217;s time to celebrate our 100th release here at Pornographic, and what better way to do that, than bringing our friends over and having a blast. Opening with label boss Cristian Varela&#8217;s quirky &#8220;Ghost Bassers&#8221;, things quickly shift to dubbed-out territory with Gabriel D&#8217;Or &amp; Bordoy&#8217;s rendition. The Advent &amp; Industrialyzer are frantic as usual and Eric Sneo brings the tribal sensibilities to the table. Hollen&#8217;s bass-heavy affair passes the ball effortlessly to Axel Karakasis and his trademarked sound, while Steve Mulder nods firmly to the classics with &#8220;Paradox&#8221;. The accompanying vocal reinforces the spiritual tone, leaving the tough rhythm section to do the rest of the work. Also provided is the Epic mix, for those more special moments, where you just need the melodic elements to do the talking.

As we unfold the second instalment of our annual compilation of exclusive gems we couldn&#8217;t be more excited to have Mr. Eric Sneo kick things off with the aptly titled -yet grinding- &#8220;Beauty Of The Sky&#8221;, followed closely by the rocksteady groove and haunting electronics of Arjun Vagale. Rafa Barrios picks up from there, strips things down to a bare minimum and adds a cheeky sample which everyone will recognize. Paride Saraceni graces us with a heads-down number, complete with house strings and meaty chords, while Matt Sassari and Reinier Zonneveld give us the claustrophobic &#8220;Gas&#8221;. Closing up, Raffaele Rizzi&#8217;s &#8220;Rebus&#8221; constantly evolves and builds over a rubber-band bassline and commading vocals.

MORDRED - GERMANY
Little is known about how Mordred was born. Some says he comes from hell or from something evil place. Only one thing is certain about him: his music is always dark. It seems, he is trying to create always something dark minimalistic music, with frightening voices and scary synths in the techno genre. As time goes by he is evolving, but can't leave behind his dark style. His 1st appearence was in 2010 when he made his 1st relevant mix the Minimalabtempo Vol.1 CD1 with his best Friend Grdnstrt. A Half Year later the 2nd mix was finished, this was Minimalabtempo Vol.2 CD2.
In 2011 he started to produce his own music, and his 1st EP was released on MANDMS Records. Since then he constantly appears on various labels as remixer and got invitations into radio shows. In the near future various EPs will be released from him, so be aware, those are not for the faint hearted!

Torsten Kanzler - this name stands for purist techno at its best for many years now. Whether hard, fast, experimentally, dadaist or functionally driving, the Kanzler sound can be recognized by hearing once. In addition to an incredibly heavy tour schedule, which hunts Torsten through clubs and festivals all over the world, he released his album “Bumm Bass Tick” in 2011. Now here comes the second strike with the promising title “N8rider” on Abstract Records.

“I think that the new album sounds tidier than the “Bumm Bass Tick” album and I think that I could generate even more pressure in the tracks because of this.” says Torsten. He further adds: “For this album, I have taken much more time and I was working on it for almost eight months. I think you can hear the long production time also within several characteristics of each track. There are full and stomping tracks, slightly faster, oblique and somewhat slower tracks as well.” Thus, it is an album for the night, a record for the club, to dance to, to celebrate to, to have fun to!

The Berlin-based DJ and producer Torsten Kanzler acts even more versatile, creative and inspired in the new chapter of his musical work, than ever before. “I've sampled many effects and sounds for this album in my surroundings, so for instance in the track “Tresen” I sampled a fire alarm, that kicked me out of my hotel bed at 6 in morning - luckily it was just a false alarm...” Furthermore, Torsten explains: “Then I digest my New Year's Eve marathon in “Herr Lehmann”. Not only that I have recorded rockets there, I also ignited them. Then there is an annoying studio neighbor or even a rumbling train. So I tried to bring all influences and experiences of the last couple of years into this album. That's why the tracks also got club names. I chose the names at the end depending on what emotions I felt while producing the track, and on the other hand at the gig in the respective club.”

Definitely something completely different and unique for sure. This in conjunction with Torsten's driving and experimental sound will probably transform “N8rider” into THE musical highlight of the year. Torsten certainly understands this album as a true milestone in his career. “I would say, that I have just found my true sound now.”

09 Torsten Kanzler - ISS

Now an internationally successful DJ, Eric Sneo started learning to play musical instruments from a young age, after his grandfather introduced him to an accordion at only the age of 4, he went on to experiment with drums after buying a drum kit in his teenage years and started to attend local jazz shows, where he really learned how to improvise. In 1991 he saw Sven Vath playing in Frankfurt, and it was here when he fell in love with what he was listening to, and wanted to know more.

With his unique performances on the E-drums during his DJ sets, Eric swiftly developed into a distinctive and highly sought after international performer with his unforgettable sets. After he presented his unique “Art of Life” show at the Nature One Festival (2009) for the first time, he gained rave reviews throughout an exclusive festival tour of the show in the summer 2010 and 2011. Eric can combine his trademark groovy technoid DJ style with his live performance of a range of acoustic and electronic instruments, including E-Drums, E-accordion, percussion & didgeridoo.

In 2011 he launched his new Mudra Audio label, where he released his critically acclaimed album “Polarity” in March 2012. Supported by international artists like Laurent Garnier, Len Faki, Dubfire, Luciano, Gabriel Ananda and Cari Lekebusch, the album was highly successful, so much so much so, that Umek signed the album track “Shut Up & Dance” as a single for his 1605 label, which was released in August 2012.

With his successful “Move On” EP in 2013, he became a member of Christian Smith’s respected, forward-thinking Tronic family, a move that led to him to his 5th album of his career “Intensity’ which was released on Tronic in 2014. Much acclaimed support lead to a steady stream of hits on Tronic, with his “Move On” and “Metanoia” tracks remixed by Pig&Dan, Paco Osuna and Mendo.

Eric has announced he will be released his next album, which will be his second on Tronic in February 2017 with ‘Sound Traveler’. Featuring 14 original tracks which show Eric’s eagerness for experimentation. Providing full bodied beats and rolling basslines, closing the gap between tech-house and techno.
