The first of a two-part package of exclusive material from the 17th edition in the Watergate CD series is from none other than the duo who commanded the mix, Pan-Pot. Making it even more special is the fact that both tracks are collaborations with two heavy hitting names in the industry from completely different sides of the musical spectrum: Slam and Vincenzo.

On the A side we see Pan-Pot and Slam do a techno burner with 'Conductor'. This shouldn't come as any surprise as both are well known for their heavy peak time club anthems. With driving hi hats, crisp snares and a thumping kick drum, the solid foundation is laid for the craftsmen to build the rest of their masterpiece and it begins with dark, reverb heavy stabs. Slowly a monotonous yet psychedelic tone takes grip and the stabs come again. This time more frequent and building in energy before getting to the break where the white noise grows and the tension builds. With just a few perfect elements it only takes removing a few pieces and then giving them back at the perfect time to instill a massive 'hands in the air' moment.

The flip side offers another vibe which rounds out the EP perfectly. It was in 2007 on the Pan-ORama album that we last saw Vincenzo and Pan-Pot together for 'Faces'. With 'Fiction Inc' we see both artists’ styles shine through. A warm deep sub bass grabs your attention while washes of glittery synths pan the background setting the stage for the lush key work that Vincenzo is synonymous for and the sinister bleeps that scream Pan-Pot. Finally the feature element reveals itself; a mix between dark and uplifting chords that resolve each cycle of the other elements finalizing in a cohesive, driving, emotional ride.

Since the turn of the decade Token has by and large been an exclusive platform for the music of Inigo Kennedy, Ø [Phase] and Ctrls. The Belgian label has, however, remained on point by putting out formidable productions by Rich Oddie & Ancient Methods’ Eschaton project, German powerhouse Rødhåd and Spanish heavy weights Oscar Mulero and Christian Wünsch as Spherical Coordinates, to some intercontinental fare by Xhin and Go Hiyama. Token, an iron clad operation continuously manufacturing unyielding techno, has always, deep within its impenetrable shell, had a soft spot for British techno. And following a reissue of Mark Broom’s “Two”, maintaining the glacial release rate of Rodz-Konez legend Makaton, and welcoming Surgeon to its fold with the thunderous Fixed Action Pattern 12”, the Belgian label seeks out some fresh UK blood by inviting James Shaw, aka Sigha, to debut on the label with a stylistically sleek and suitably booming 12”, Our Father / A Better Way Of Living.

On equal part, Sigha’s Token debut chalks up another milestone for the Berlin-based Englishman, not only because his name is now up there with the likes of the aforementioned, but Our Father / A Better Way Of Living provides Sigha with his first release away from a label that Shaw’s not intrinsically related to. Prior to this it’s been Scuba’s Hotflush, Shifted’s Avian, James Ruskin’s Blueprint and Shaw’s own Our Circula Sound that have unleashed his productions, and Sigha now steps up to deliver Token a linear 12” full of cosmic flavour and warehouse attitudes that judiciously falls between the sonic aesthetics of Inigo Kennedy’s twinkling melancholia and the interlocking kick drums and basslines of Ø [Phase]. And there’s no doubting that both Token and Sigha are better for it.

FaltyDL's trusty Blueberry label sets sail with catalogue no. BBR008 under his new Tenant moniker, Not for Press. The opening track sets the tone for the entire six-tracker – a dizzying tyranny of factory-line sounds to elevate listeners to a state of raised heart rates and higher consciousness. It's hard to believe that Falty/Tenant is also a part-time librarian... or maybe it actually makes perfect sense. "Remote Lover" remains incredibly melodious, despite its almost entirely percussive texture (until that unannounced synth euphoria at the 3-minute mark). For that reason, its title couldn't be more accurate.

One that must be handled with care, Not for Press drops on 8th April. Approach with caution.

The unrelenting force that is Hot Creations often acts as a breeding ground for raw talent. This next release does just that with four ‘Hot Jams’ from upcoming artists Lee Walker, Pete Dorling, Neil Parkes and Greeko.

First up, young producer Lee Walker from Middlesbrough makes his debut on Hot Creations delivering ‘That Little Ditty’, which takes hold with a deeply intoxicating bassline, prominent hi-hats and punchy stabs that build to a frenzied climax. Shooting onto the scene in 2015 with his off-the-cuff edit of DJ Deeon’s ‘Freak Like Me’, which played by the likes of Marco Carola, Dixon and Loco Dice, soon gained over 1 million hits on Youtube and was finally picked up by Defected Records.

Having featured on ‘Hot Summer Jams’ on the label back in 2014, Essex DJ and producer Pete Dorling is back with another killer track. ‘Manyana’ drives with a heavy bassline as tribal vocal cuts are played throughout. Other releases can be seen on the likes of VIVa Music, Resonance Productions and NoFitState.

Also appearing on the same ‘Hot Summer Jams’, Neil Parkes is back on board the label with ‘Peil Narkes.’ A swinging bassline sets the groundwork as layers of moody synths roll out over punchy hats. Since his first release on Metroline Limited, Neil has spread his wings releasing on labels such as MadTech, Leftroom Limited and Underground Audio.

Francesco Fortuna, aka “Sisko Electrofanatik” was born in Rome. Since he was very young, 
he was attracted by dance music, and with time he developed a special interest in the various facets of house and electronic music. His passion for the electronic music pull him to express his ideas and musical selections. 
So he started to work in some clubs of the Italian capital. His style in DJ sets was always surrounded with electronic sound, and that is how he was eventually tagged with the nick "Electrofanatik". 
After a few years of doing gigs he started to feel the need to create a personal sound, so he began to produce and express his creativity in the current underground style. Hence the search of a label that supported his musical needs, and the meeting with various producers that brought him to know Neurotraxx Recordings,becoming successively Label Manager and leading artist of the label.
His productions immediately reached top 10 charts ,they were appreciated and played by international renowed artists (Like: Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Deep Dish, Umek, Funkagenda, Tomcraft, Sharam, Marco Bailey,Tocadisco, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Claude Von Stroke, Alexi Delano, Groove Armada, Paco Osuna, The Advent, Ahmet Sendil, Dandi & Ugo, Piatto, Andrea Roma, Stefano Noferini, Anderson Noise and more..).He also collaborates with major labels such as Yoshitoshi, Bush, Musique Monique, Blufin Armada Music and more.
On March 2009 his track "No Control" reached 1 in the Minimal Beatport Chart,and 2nd Place on the nomintation of "The Best Minimal Track 2010". 
Then continuing the collaboration and successes as” Fucktronik”, “No Name Remix”, "Musica", "Rush", "Implication one", "Relief remix" , "ON", Cocaine", "Insatiable" on Beatport Top10 Techno Chart, and in March 2012 "Funkalistic" ranched #1 on Beatport Techno Chart., "Explorer", "Nyo", “Magtek remix”, “Tema Remix” and “Hive Mind remix” all No. 1 and others tracks on top10 Beatport Minimal Chart, this gave him a lot of visibility and appreciation worldwide. 
In September 2013 he opened his label called "Gain Records", making use of numerous collaborations with leading artists in the underground scene, the first track of their debut label was Sisko entitled "Insatiable" comes in 5th position in the top 10 Techno Beatport, played and supported by Carl Cox, and two months later "Cocaine" comes in 3rd place in the ranking of Beatport Techno chart and remains in the top for many weeks. even after "On" climbed the Beatport top 10 techno followed by remix of Dubspeeka. It also works with FM radio stations and streaming around the globe. .
Today, he continues to produce and play with dedication and passion with his very own unique "Electrofanatik" style...

Now an internationally successful DJ, Eric Sneo started learning to play musical instruments from a young age, after his grandfather introduced him to an accordion at only the age of 4, he went on to experiment with drums after buying a drum kit in his teenage years and started to attend local jazz shows, where he really learned how to improvise. In 1991 he saw Sven Vath playing in Frankfurt, and it was here when he fell in love with what he was listening to, and wanted to know more.

With his unique performances on the E-drums during his DJ sets, Eric swiftly developed into a distinctive and highly sought after international performer with his unforgettable sets. After he presented his unique “Art of Life” show at the Nature One Festival (2009) for the first time, he gained rave reviews throughout an exclusive festival tour of the show in the summer 2010 and 2011. Eric can combine his trademark groovy technoid DJ style with his live performance of a range of acoustic and electronic instruments, including E-Drums, E-accordion, percussion & didgeridoo.

In 2011 he launched his new Mudra Audio label, where he released his critically acclaimed album “Polarity” in March 2012. Supported by international artists like Laurent Garnier, Len Faki, Dubfire, Luciano, Gabriel Ananda and Cari Lekebusch, the album was highly successful, so much so much so, that Umek signed the album track “Shut Up & Dance” as a single for his 1605 label, which was released in August 2012.

With his successful “Move On” EP in 2013, he became a member of Christian Smith’s respected, forward-thinking Tronic family, a move that led to him to his 5th album of his career “Intensity’ which was released on Tronic in 2014. Much acclaimed support lead to a steady stream of hits on Tronic, with his “Move On” and “Metanoia” tracks remixed by Pig&Dan, Paco Osuna and Mendo.

Eric has announced he will be released his next album, which will be his second on Tronic in February 2017 with ‘Sound Traveler’. Featuring 14 original tracks which show Eric’s eagerness for experimentation. Providing full bodied beats and rolling basslines, closing the gap between tech-house and techno.
