From a young age, Eric ‘Rocca’ Varnado began to indulge in the sounds, emotions, and vibrations of music. Living in Sacramento, CA and feeling a bit stuck, Rocca began to write to express himself. What started as poetry slowly transformed into writing full length songs which in turn presented opportunities to start recording in the studio. First Cousins Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger have always been key factors in Rocca’s motivation for success, realizing his ability runs in his blood. On October 2011 he dropped his first LP ‘Born King’ and began doing shows all around the City of Trees and across the U.S. In April of 2012 he came out with a follow-up EP ‘High Class’ collaboration with Paris, France producer, Ape Beatz. His first full length album ‘Born King 2: Welcome to the Flight Club’ which opens with a rare freestyle recording of Rocca and Executive Vice President of Death Row Records and rapper Kurupt came out on October 11th, 2013. The project includes features from Xuice Hades, Erik James of the Bell Boys, Tynethys, and partner in rhyme JeffFresh of iDream.
