PRAISE FUCKING JESUS FOR MUSIC LIKE THIS!

This one started as a jam with a very static groove to begin with, Kick + Pulse Snare, and then the bass stabs to match. I had been spending my sort of newly isolated days new to Berlin, not knowing that many people just yet, and locking myself away in the studio. Watching plenty of John Carpenter movies (my favorite film maker) and digesting a whole load of 70's progressive rock & 80's film score soundtracks.
The whole thing came together pretty quickly, the arpeggio played out that way because I had been practising that scale and was finally able to make the run. 
I can't go into too much detail here without writing an essay in the universal powers but at some point and the same if for all of us who create in whatever ways we do, the artist becomes the instrument and at that perfect moment the universe and the artist are one.
This was the final production to leave the studio in 2012. Just before i turned off the computer for the last time and headed back to London from Berlin to meet my sister for Christmas on the 23rd of December. 
7 days later Jonny White Calls me on my birthday and asks to sign it to No.19.

Named after the signature Larry Heard tune that introduced the world to “Jack,” the track is the latest by DJ/producer/radio host/label head Schneider to pay homage to the Chicago greats, following last spring’s Ron Hardy-inspired “Hey,” which became an instant fave when Anja dropped it at the always in demand Mobilee rooftop parties in Barcelona. Expect the same response in summer 2014, when “Can You Feel It,” and flipsides “Dubmission” and “Revolution,” hit the ears of sun-kissed partiers worldwide.

The german dj & producer Patrick Zigon is back - with his label Biotop, and with his first vinyl release after 2 years. Located at the beautiful Lake Constance area in Southern Germany, Patrick Zigon builds with his label a biotope for friendly artists, which is focused on experimental and open-minded electronic music.
After the first digital releases, Biotop drops the first vinyl on the market. 

Patrick Zigon's "Ich See" was released on Biotop's [aLIVE] compilation, and is without doubt one of the brightest moments in the young label-history. "Ich See" is a typical Patrick Zigon track with deep and dubby chords and atmospheres, a huge kick, a heavy bassline and strong, undeniable Detroit-influences. Some call it Neo-Detroit, some call it Detroit-Dub... however you call it - it's deep, dubby and detroitish.

Patrick invited two well respected electronic artists to put their mighty skills on the original track. Avantroots & Desolat's Pablo Bolivar remains very close to the original, adding a huge organ-bassline, which makes it even more melodic, deep and housy. Thoughtless Music & Get Physical's Noah Pred completely rebuilds the track. He adds noises and bleeps, and delivers a techy, trippy voyage.

"Ich See" will be released beginning of august on vinyl & digital, completed with a beautiful artwork by Maralotta (patam) and amazing videos by visual-artist Tripfabrik. More information on www.biotop-label.net. Biotop is alive.

German brother and sister duo Hundreds released their second album 'Aftermath' back in May via Berlin imprint Sinnbus and the melancholia-drenched long player had listeners transfixed around the world.

On Eva and Philip Milner's sophomore album, delicate melodies are intertwined with heartfelt vocals and hauntingly delicate productions and the album will soon receive its first remix EP.

There's an edit from German electronic outfit The/Das and also from the Pampa and Kompakt stalwart Robag Wruhme and the latter has cast his spell over the album's title track.

Artwork by Raquel Peña. The second part of the artwork is unveiled and we find a sea full of technological objects and shadowy robotic creatures. In a world where technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, this could be one of our destinies.
