I have been sitting on an endless pile of recordings that rarely see the light of day. Many of them have a small moment, a flaw in my eyes, a scuffed moment, whatever it may be that made me decide not to upload it. All of my recordings were beautiful gatherings filled with some of my favorite memories, and they were all honest expressions of where i was at the time. The more i thought about it, the more it felt disingenuous to hold these back because of a minor scuff.
I decided to start adding more sets to this collection. A series of stories told as i played for a family that has supported me for so long. Thank you for taking the time to listen and i hope you enjoy. All of these moments have meant more than i can express. --erik

From the south of Buenos Aires city, Tobías De Cancellis a.k.a. Lucien, has always found peace and joy in creating and enjoying music. Passing through lots of different musical genres, the expression of emotions through sound has always been his main objective when producing new music. 

With the discovery of electronic dance music, he found a way of expression and at the same time a sound to share with other people and have a nice time together. Organic percussions, melancholic melodies and mysterious voices are part of the idea that Lucien wants to share with this new mix and forthcoming EP for Canopy Sounds.

It's with great excitement that I release my set from Electric Island 2022 with you all. It was such an amazing day shared with so many beautiful friends and fam. Our community created some real magic at the Sunset Stage and I am so grateful to all of you who made it so special. Huge thanks to the organizers for having me once again, including Coda Toronto, Platform Entertainment, Embrace Presents and the whole EI crew. 

The set is filled with driving synths, deep and dark basslines sprinkled with some uplifting melodies, and of course some pinnacle vocal tracks that I feel in love with over the past few months.

I hope this takes you to a happy place like it does for me. Enjoy friends!

The past couple of years saw Tamir collaborating on releases with Shai T, Guy Mantzur and Avi Snow, remixing Mathias Meyer and the official Fauda soundtrack, releasing Beatport Top 10 tracks on All Day I Dream, Do Not Sit and Moments, and launching his own record label named Silver Joe. Tamir’s latest release is Metaphysical on Bedouin’s record label Human By Default
