Yorick draws heavy inspiration from minimal house and techno vanguards such as Reiss, Sonja Moonear and Zip, all of whom are masters in combining minimal house with pretty much anything.

He is determined to get the house and techno scene going harder than ever in his hometown Breda and beyond, and aims to do so by bringing people together through high quality beats.

Teased over two years ago in Palinoia owner Eric Cloutier's XLR8R podcast, Gabriella's hotly anticipated and incredibly good "I Can't Stop" finally has an EP, housed with three other fantastic cuts from the Bulgarian producer. She's complimented the title track with another quirky, funky house jam, "Everybody Loves Bobo," and also made two full on techno bangers with "The Perfect Lover" and "Oblique Strategies." An absolute beast of an EP that I'm glad is finally getting its day in the sun...and the clubs.

With several gigs at Breakfast Club Amsterdam, Drift, About Blank and Tresor (to name a few) it's safe to say that the Amsterdam-based @caim-records is no new face to the electronic music scene. The duo founded a label and released 3 astounding EP's, of which the tracks can be heard in numerous DJ sets of various artists. One of the members recently stepped back from DJ-ing but is still involved in the label and music-making. Luckily the other member was able to record this smooth and dreamy podcast for us and we're extremely happy to add Caim to the WAS Series.
