This is a clip from the second last hour of a four-hour set that I played on a Sunday morning in the beginning of July 2021. The party was located just outside Copenhagen. During the first three hours the mixer distorted the recorded sound because the sound was peaking just as much as the party was peaking. The set is all about bright, energizing Detroit techno- and electro with an ending that consists of UR classics. It was a dusty and happy crowd dancing in the morning mist. People were really maxing out their needs. The crowd had an obvious desire to dance together after too much waiting. It was a hunger for going all out after the boring Cov19 lockdown. We had so much fun that night and morning. I played from 05 to 09 at this party while I played a two-hour set at another afterparty earlier that night. Playing that many hours was really inspiring. The more I played the more the music was flowing. Fellow DJs are talking about being "In the zone". Well, we were definitely "In the zone". How is it possible to perform so many hours you may ask? It was a continuous flow of energy to and from the crowd. In addition, the context was strongly contributing; among others the smell of dirt and grass, skies of dust, and the heat of the sun.
